Temps are dropping here! It will be in the teens by Friday.
Is that 6 degrees celcius or farenheit.. I always get confused which people are talking about hahahaha
If its degrees..its the same temp here!! brrr

Saw a commercial yesterday... where there was christmas music playing..and then it warped and died off..and a christmas balls smashed on the ground(the ones on the tree)..& went off about how christmas was over but boxing day sales weren't.. I cried a little bit inside. hahahaha

They have been calling for snow all week and then we get to when it is supposed to snow and guess what? We are probably only going to get an inch. UGH!!

That's the most depressing Christmas-y commercial ever! Give me a good old Wallace & Gromit short any day. Oo... I need to remember that: watch a Christmas themed W&G short whenever I need a quick booster shot of Christmas spirit, like on a Rudy day.

I'm a little early this morning, but the amount of posts that I have caught up on has certainly put me in a Christmas mood. Thank you all for that! Pace for 12,000? Hopefully this posting will continue for the entire year. It is incredible to read so many new faces in this thread. I hope that everyone stays. It truly has brightneed my day. Thank you for that!
It was about -20C with the windchill as I traveled to work today. I don't mind cold weather, but wind has always bothered me. Still, I can tolerate -20C. Anything into -30C windchills gives me troubles.
I appreciate all the Christmas is never over posts. It certainly feels that way in my heart. Thanks to everyone on this site for keeping Christmas alive each and every day of the year. It's great to think that we only have just over 10 more months until the 2010 Christmas Season! Oh, and I am excited for a single digit special to be revealed tomorrow!

Good Morning, Friends and Christmas Season 2010 Anticipators!
Another day - another count number:
Days to the Season: 310
Days to Christmas Day:352
To quote the doorman in The Wizard of Oz: "It's plain as the nose on my face" that tomorrow will see us down to SINGLE DIGITS to our first Milestone, the 300-day Season window.
(And, won't being in the 200's make it seem close?)
Continued cold but a touch warmer than yesterday at this time.
We stand at 27 but the teens are on the way for the next few nights along with a "60 percent chance" of light snow tonight!
(Now, why couldn't we get that on Christmnas??)
Well, sadly Crabtree has begun undecorating.
Was by there yesterday evening and Santa's village is gone along with about half of the hall decorations. By this weekend, all signs of Christmas will have disappeared.
(Of course, that means we are ready to begin anticipating 2010's decor!)

I've been busy planning Grandma Eagle's 90th Birthday party. I never knew how many friends my Mother has. We let out a hall for this Saturday, the food, flowers, and cake have been ordered. I believe we are all set. It's snowing here as we speak. I just hope it stops be Saturday. By the way, I talked to the hall manager and asked them to leave their Christmas deco up for the party. Maybe snow will work on Saturday . . . . . . .

I got a last-minute opportunity to go bird hunting with my father-in-law and my brother-in-law yesterday afternoon. You don't pass that up! So I took a couple of personal hours, got my son out of school 30 minutes early, and off we went. I hope someday my son looks back fondly on the times he went hunting with me, like I do about my youth hunting with my dad.
Today's off to a good start. I hope everyone has a great day! cheesy

WOOHOO it's snowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have got about 2 inches so far and they are calling for 3 to 4 more. It looks so beautiful out that I just sat in front of the window with a mug of hot chocolate this morning. It sounds like the roads are getting bad though now and they have closed the interstate in a couple of places. I plan to just stay inside for awhile and then I will go out and start shoveling this afternoon. If I am lucky the maintenace crew will come and shovel before they go home and I won't have to. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
