Good morning all.. woke up this morning thinking about Christmas. Could that be because my little guy listened to the sound track from the Polar Express twice yesterday? LOL!
Off from work today, school closed... maybe later today I'll make some popcorn, pop in a christmas movie and relax with the kids.

A bit coolish this morning, where we stand just below 47 at this hour here in Raleigh.
Lots of sun however, with the promise of near 60 by this afternoon.
(Yesterday, we actually managed to hit 68!)

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
This was a wet weekend, for sure. I know it was supposed to rain, but I didn't know the wind was supposed to get as bad as it was. It felt like a summer Savannah hurricane! At one point Saturday night, I thought it was hailing. I went outside and saw that the wind was knocking down pecans from the trees in my yard that hadn't fallen yet. They were slamming onto my roof, sounding like machine-gun fire. Sunday morning, there were pecans all over the ground again!
Well, at least that's all behind us now. We have sunny skies, nice temperatures and a good start on Monday.

Checking in to see how everyones doing. I will be taking off soon to take my daughter to an appointment. I'm letting her sleep in a bit since she didn't have school today. I guess some schools don't observe today, because my nieces and nephew (2 different schools, next towns over) have to go today.
A little breezy out this morning, looks as if it will warm up to about 45 today. And we may get some snow by Friday or Saturday. Have a good one all!!!

Thats so sweet Minta...My kiddo loves singing Christmas songs all year long. She will just start singing out of the blue....*L* It's nice you have the day off...we do too. Enjoy it!!
