Things have been busy...and I've been dealing with being under the weather, so I'm feeling very tired these past days. I'm debating whether or not I will cancel my ballet class today. I just want to sleep and sleep and sleep.:-?

We had supper with my mom last night. We always have Sunday lunch at her house, but Jacob had had the flu Friday & Saturday and I didn't want to risk spreading it, so we didn't go this past Sunday. She called to say she missed us, please come to dinner. I was ready. She make the best meatloaf around!

Good morning, everyone!!

We have two more days of beauitful sunny weather in Ottawa and then early Spring Showers are most likely on their way. With temperatures reaching into the double digits this past weekend, there are only patches of snow that remain in fields. It should be melted by tomorrow or shortly after as the rain will wash it all away! The good thing is that the weather will be above seasonal, so the rain should not feel that cold. Highs of +6C (43F) and +7C (45F) tomorrow! Judging by the rooftop windows over my desk in the officer, there is not a cloud in the sky, either!

My mom phoned last night from Cuba. She sounded like she was having so much fun! She's there with her husband and a couple of her best friends. I'm happy for her. She totally deserves an enjoyable vacation! Obviously, it's nice to know that everything is OK down there, too. She is coming back on Friday, but I won't be able to talk to her until Sunday night or Monday night as I will be in southern Pennsylvania for a tournament this weekend. Our first tournament of the year. Should be plenty of fun!

I hope everyone is starting to feel better. Transistional weather can bring out the worst in cold and flu season. Hopefully the warmer weather will bring less sickness. Take care, everyone. Enjoy your Tuesday!!!

Good afternoon!! My thermometer said 57º on my way home from work!!! FIFTY SEVEN!!!! That's almost 60º!! Woo Hooooo! But the sun went away now...looks like rain moving in before long! Bummer!! Still hoping to grill out for supper!!

I am just checking in to see how everyone's day has gone. My niece has decided that she is staying the night so it should be fun in the morning trying to get her up and ready to go to school and mom also has her pre op appointment tomorrow morning. So tomorrow is shaping up to be a busy day. Well I am off to watch american idol.
