It is a beautiful day here. I don't have much planned today. I am thinking about making some cinnamon rolls and maybe a batch of cookies. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Crown's right, it's beautiful here in the southeastern US today. If only the pollen would disappear. Ok, I'll stop complaining about my allergies.

My son is going to the regional spelling bee tomorrow, so I'll be out all day with that. Both of my kids have been before, and Jacob loves it (he's a ham), but Elizabeth gets such stage-fright that she doesn't do well. The last time she went, she came off the stage crying. That broke my heart. We decided then that we wouldn't allow her to participate again until she was a little older, and I think it was a good decision. Jacob will have a blast, anyway. Then, he and I go to Space Camp in Huntsville, AL next week with his class. Fun, fun!

The weather has been perfect today. The kids and I spent a couple of hours outside and enjoyed the day.

I have some chores to do then get ready for American Idol!

Once a year they have a music festival here for all the schools. The kids do singing, percussion, coral reading etc.
It is busy time for the buses driving classes to and from the events. Lots of fun too.
I took one school to an event for percussion this morning. They did an awesome job! Got 92 out of 100!!!

I was going to the CN tower on Saturday, but it is going to be raining which means the view up there will not be good, so we will put it off for another time.

I do want to get some more work done in my back yard today since it is going to be raining the rest of the week.

Good Morning, Friends.

Overcast here today, but since the weather service said no rain, it can't rain (can it?).
We stand at 54 currently and it's supposed to be cooler today with highs in the 60's before returning to the 70's tomorrow.
The pollen is still with us but much reduced after our rain last week.

We are now UNDER 2 weeks away from both or our next milestones, the 200-day Season Window and the 1/3 Christmas Day mark.

Good morning, everyone!!

It was a beautiful weekend in Ithaca, NY. We finished second and qualified for Regionals in Princeton, NJ, but I was a little disappointed. The good thing is that we can certainly improve. It is another beautiful day here in Ottawa. We should be seeing a high of 16C, which is great!! Not much wind, either, so practice tonight will be real fun.

I had my final exam of my undergrad yesterday and am hoping that I got at least a B. We'll see when the grades come out. Now I only have a 25 page paper to write and then I am done! However, I am waiting on the Grad Studies coordinator to talk to me as I am interested in staying at Carleton one more year to do my Masters. I never thought I would do it, but I think it would be a good decision if I can get in.

Lots of things happening here. Very busy! My work has also given me most of this weekend off to work on my final paper. I really should get down to business! Fantastic to see that we are less than two weeks away from our next milestones. We're almost halfway through April!! Here in Ottawa, most the leaves are on the trees already, about two weeks ahead of schedule. No complaints. Lovin' this weather.
