I am going for an interview today. A tad nervous, have not been to an interview for a long time.
To celebrate the milestone I am sitting here listening to christmas music. I don't have much to do today so I am going to work on my plans for decorating this christmas and I might try out a new hard candy recipe I found. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everybody!!!! I'm getting married today and am very excited!!!! Except that it is going to be raining today. But that's not going to stop the fun. I hope everybody has a great day!!!
I did that with my kids too when they where younger. Kept them busy most of the summer.Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
Vacation Bible School has started in our area. My kids usually go to two or three VBS's (besides ours) after invitations from their friends, so it gets kinda busy. They have fun, though. The organizers usually take a lot of digital photos and put together a Powerpoint presentation on an overhead projector set to music on "graduation" night, and that's alway neat to see.
I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

The United Methodist Church operates an outdoor tabernacle near here with family "tents" on the grounds. They call them tents, but most are small cabins, some very nice and some ramshackle. My mother-in-law has a "tent" that is a block building with 5 small bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and a screened porch. There's no insulation, heck, no ceiling! The BR walls go up about 8 feet, then they stop. You can see the roof from your bed. I talked her into allowing some window a/c units a couple years ago. She was opposed at first because they never needed them before, but they used to have the week-long meeting in October. Now it's in July.I did that with my kids too when they where younger. Our VBS is near the end of August, but this year our church is also putting on two weeks of day camp. At the end of each week we are taking them all to a water park for the day. (I get to drive time in the bus)

sounds like fun! Anyway, Nancy and the kids love it, but it's tough for me to sleep there. I could stay at home, but I can't sleep when Nancy's not there, either. Danged if I do, danged if I don't.
They have services every night, and day activities for the kids. It draws a massive crowd!
