Good morning, everyone!!
Some good news. Our roommate, Mike, loved the apartment and, assuming that we are approved to move in. We will be simultaneously paying our last month's rent at our current apartment and our first month's rent at our new apartment, but the new apartment is worth paying double for a month! We're all excited to move in!
For once, I wish I did not have to attend a tournament this weekend. My hamstring is starting to come around and I can finally run comfortably. My team is heading to the northeast for a tournament in Devens, MA, which is just outside of Boston. It's one of the best tournaments of the season, but Kim is upset I have to leave her so close to worlds. I'm a little upset, too. I tried to get out of the tournament but I have played competitively in about a month and a half. And, if I went into Worlds without having played at such a level, I would be really hurting my team and my playing time... Tough situation. I guess I will be getting in that car in a few hours and making the seven hour drive.
Because of this, I will be missing an important milestone! Tomorrow is half way to Christmas! I know everyone here will celebrate it well. I wish I could celebrate it with all of you! It's been a great climb to the top and I can't wait to jump on that sleigh - as Minta said - and slide toward our winter wonderland of excitement!
I hope everyone has a great half way to Christmas Day celebration!! Enjoy your Friday and enjoy your weekend!!!
