Another travel alert!

The Crowns are off to Bermuda via RCL.
It is likely the last trip of this sort my father will be able to take so we don't want to miss the opportunity.
A countdown volunteer will be needed for Saturday through Thursday mornings.

Any takers?

If nobody else can do it next week, I'd lend my services. However, I am very unreliable on weekends. So, if nobody volunteers by tomorrow's count posting, I will do next Monday - Thursday... July 26 - 29.

Well it is a hot and humid day here in Indiana. We are having some pop up t-storms this afternoon and there was a report of a tornado touching down just south of the city about an hour ago. I went out shopping this morning for everything I need to go to the race on Sunday and the practice sessions tomorrow. I have also started to hydrate myself since it is going to be 94 tomorrow with a heat index of 105 to 110. Sunday is supposed to be better with the temp only reaching the middle 80's. While I was out I stopped at hobby lobby. They are starting to get all of their individual ornaments in. They also have their craft stuff all put out. They still don't have their Santa's in yet but I am hoping that they will get them in soon. With all of the Christmas activities going on I have really been in the Christmas spirit the last couple of days. I know watching QVC this weekend will make it worse and I will probably be ready to get my tree out of the attic come Sunday night. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ho Ho Ho cheesy

Boy am I tired and I really dont have a good reason! Well Im back to work today after having 2 days off with my Boys..I love my time off with them but I work harder at home then I do at work!

We are having pizza for dinner..(one of my favorites) and my Hubby has a baseball game..looking forward to spending time with my Boys and when they fall asleep if it cools down enough I will make a hot chocolate and listen to some Christmas music.

Tomorrow is Christmas in July at my work and I am so excited..its going to be a very hot Christmassy weekend...with QVC being on and we are having my 1st annual Christmas in July dinner on Sunday!

Hello Christmas Family !!

Today was SUCH a great day !! My two dearest friends in the whole world came over and we went to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. As much as I LOVE animals, this was ALMOST like being in Santa Land !!

I got to see their sole surviving Polar Bear and she was so beautiful !! She was standing on a big rock when we got there and panting (POOR THING !!) But she seemed very content, though a little sad.......:-? She is the only one at this time and I think she is lonely. We went to the rainforest exhibit too. It was AMAZING. There were two clocks displayed in the exhibit as well as all the neat rain forest creatures.....One which shows the population of the world and how fast it is INCREASING and the other which shows how fast the rain forests are DECREASING second by second. It made me very said but it was still an amazing place.

I am so glad I got to go !!!

take her to Ontario place Friday, if you go between 6am and 9am the breakfast TV crew is there giving away free passess to the first 1,000 people. They will also be giving away a bunch of prizes and lots of free food too.
(make a big sign to hold up[Merry Christmas!] so we know where you are!)

Thanks for the tip - only I won't be picking her up until 10:30am. Its approximately 2 hour drive from my place to theirs. I take it that you are going to be there! I wish I could - then I'd get the chance to meet you in person! Perhaps some day!

Oh...there will be lots of playing, singing, dancing, laughing, love and snuggles! You better believe there will be Christmas music and Christmas cartoons as well! The last time Emma was here - we watched Frosty a lot (she really likes Frosty), and I sang the song and danced with her. After a few (or 10) times doing that...she'd come up to me with her hands held high saying "Frosty!" So...we would sing and dance to Frosty another few (or another 10) times! HA!

After that weekend...she got my son and daugther-in-law to sing Frosty to her as well! Oh...she is my little Christmas grand-daughter!!!

Well...its good to "see" you all tonight! Its always Christmassy fun!!!

Well I am going to call it a night. I have to get up at 5am tomorrow so I can meet my cousin at his house at 6am. Then we will head out to the track. It is going to be a traffic nightmare since they have the interstate all tore up on that side of town and the most popular exit ramp for the track is closed. Good evening all!

I am up late, posting and was watching John Lackey of the Red Sox throw a no hitter until the bottom of the eighth inning, now I just hope the Sox hold on to win. Well today was the dreaded grocery shopping day, the boys just "love" that, never know if we got everything we need because we are trying get through quickly. JP is still getting better everyday, he will be able to eat real food again in a couple more days, he has been wanting pizza, and fried chicken. We may have to treat him when he is ready for it. Our little guy is speaking up a storm lately, we have been able to have actual conversations with him, with him asking questions back to us, it is amazing how quickly they learn.
