Oh boy! What a full and fun day its been! I finally got Emma to bed at 8:00pm - and she didn't have a nap today! She has so much fun at Grammie and Grampie's house that she doesn't want to miss a thing cheesy.

I just have to tell you this...so after we got here Emma got all her toys out (or rather...she dumped them all on the floor cheesy) and she found her cell phone and put it up to her ear. Now...normally when I ask her who is she talking to she says "Mommy". BUT...this time when I asked...she said "SANTA CLAUS"!!! I couldn't believe it! She said that a number of times today - and I got her on film one of those times! Oh...and I didn't even prompt her to say it (I promise you)!

She really is her Grammie's little girl!!!

I spend every waking moment of my time with her when she is here. I am not used to chasing and playing with a 2.5 year old - so let me tell you I am wiped out! She is a VERY active little girl!

I cherrish every single second I have with Emma!!!

Yes...I know...when I have Emma on the weekends - its always "Emma this" and "Emma that". I cannot help it...I am a grand-mother :rudolph:!

Anyway - I depending on what time Emma wakes up in the morning, I may not get the chance to log back on until Saturday night. I'm happy I got the chance to do it tonight - because so much has gone on today! Once all is said and done - I will have a lot of catching up to do!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS IN JULY, MY CHRISTMAS FRIENDS!!!

...and sweet (Christmas) dreams!

Well...I think you just may be right! Oh...I will surely find a way! I LOVE IT HERE WITH ALL OF YOU!!! Oh...AND I LOVE CHRISTMAS (but...I guess that's a given, eh? cheesy)!

Good Evening Everyone from the face of the sun!!!!!!!!!!!! At least that is what it felt like here today. I have never been to the track when it was that hot and I don't plan on ever doing it again. At 8am this morning it felt like 89 degrees outside and by mid afternoon the heat index was well over 110 at the track. I sat in the shade but that didn't help. They had misting stations set up around the track but I think it was evaporating as soon as it came out of the nozzle. I personally think they should have set up fire hoses to spray everyone. I drank around 20 bottles of water to make sure I kept hydrated. I had a great time though and it was great to see the cars out on the track.

That is very dangerous heat. I am glad you are home safe!

Thanks!!!!! It seemed pretty empty out there today. I think alot of people stayed home because of the heat. The good thing is that it is going to cool down on sunday!!!!!!!!!cheesy
