Hey friends! Boy, we were chatty today. You know, we have some really great people come along since I was fortunate to join. I really love this place.

Made, I don't know about you, but if I was Jack Roush, I think I would quit flying.

I agree that ther has been some wonderful people join since the day we did and they have only made the site even better!!!!!cheesy



I also agree that maybe it is time for Roush to hire a pilot.

Had a very long but fun day! Started off with taking the kids for a ride on their bikes and I walked along with them this morning. Went to the park for a little while then we headed to the Children's Museum and spent 3 hours there. The kids were VERY TIRED by the time their mom got off work. I AM TIRED TOO!

I am going to babysit my oldest niece tomorrow for awhile and then friday I get to babysit both of them all day.

Boy, are we having a storm! Wondering when the power will go off. Thunder, lightening , hail, tornado warning (weather net work reported rotation in the clouds near here) It stopped for awhile but has started up again. Hope this is as bad as it gets. One minute it is really windy the next no wind at all. Don't like this kind of storm.

I hope you made it though the storm okay!!!! We have had a few strong storms come through tonight but they are dying off now.

Good morning, friends! Just stumbled upon a few extra minutes this morning and thought to myself that I knew just how to spend them....so here I am.

Going to be hot and muggy here today. I just keep telling myself that it's just about 6 more weeks and then it will start cooling....just six more weeks....but that seems forever. But the good news is that we will be almost in the 50's til the arrival of the season then.

I try to get up at least 45 minutes before the kids get here and have coffee but just couldn't get out of bed this morning. They are here now and playing games while I have some coffee and catch up on here. I am off work and no babysitting tomorrow. Rest time for me!

Well, almost 100 days until the season, 149 to Darlene Love....and Binger has opened up membership to the D.Love Club, you better take him up on it. Last year was awesome.

MsChristmas - how fun! When is Dylan's birthday? Time flies.. I remember when you posted about having him!

I am in a much, much less miserable mood today! The floors are sanded (FINALLY) and my grandmom and aunt were kind enough to come help me get all the sawdust up and then put the sealer down... now my husband has to polyuerathane the floors and then we're DONE!!! FINALLY! That was our main concern, so whewww! And appliances come Saturday, so we're all set to move in on Sunday - sooooo excited to get back to "normal" life.

I hope everyone is enjoying their day... is it hot there, too? The humidity is back here again but the temps later this week are in the low to mid 80s with low humidity! Think I'll need a sweater, hehe!

Glad your feeling better! Dylan's Birthday is August 18th but we are having his party on the 14th!

Good morning, friends!

It was very refreshing to walk to work in 15C (70F) degree temperatures this morning, especially with a brisk breeze from the north. A very welcomed change from the usual mid 20s/lower 80s we have been experiencing as of late. Speaking of change, I have a feeling that the numbers have changed since yesterday. Yes, it is time for my final countdown!
Days to the Season: 107
Days to Christmas Day: 149
A week from today, we will be experiencing our first (of three) August Milestones! The Days to the Season count will reach 100 and we will all be anticipation to see it lower to double digits a week from tomorrow! As mentioned during yesterday's "triple" hump day celebrations, we are past half way through the 100s for Days to Christmas Day. Lookin' good!

The weekend is nearly upon us. For us Canadians, it is a long weekend as we will celebrate our Civic Holiday on Monday! I've only been back at work for two weeks, but I could really use a long weekend! Actually there is another important reason to be excited about tomorrow - the return of Crown! "They" will be returning from their wonderful trip tomorrow. I hope he has had a safe, wonderful and memorable time with his father. In fact, I am sure we all do.

Lastly, I hope that everyone enjoys their day. It has been a treat to be your morning countdown host since Monday. I am glad I had the opportunity to do so.

Happy Thursday my Christmas friends! I have been up since 3:30 am ...my little stinker went to bed at 10 pm and was up at 3:30 am ready to go for the day. I gave him a bottle at 4:15 am but by the time he went back to sleep I had to shower and get ready for work. Our trash was stolen sometime last night from in front of our house. It kinda has me in a weird mood today. My Hubby is worried it is a guy that he had to fire from work last week...or it could be some weirdo trying to steal our idenity or watching us or something? I really dont know. Either way Its got me a little bummed and wondering what is going on. Other then that not much going on. I ordered Dylan's Birthday cake yesterday and took my older son Evan to get his hair cut and out to lunch. Im back to work today... pay day..one good thing about Thursday cheesy. Have a nice afternoon!!!!!

Good morning all.. got a nice jump start on our daugheter's back to school clothes shopping last night and picked up a couple little flannel shirts for our son. He looked so cute in them... Another hot and humid day again today with a chance of storms this evening..... makes me long for fall all that much more.

Sorry to hear you didn't get much sleep. I would be feeling weird too if someone stole my trash! It wouldn't hurt to call for extra police patrol if you feel it could be possible identity theft going on. Be sure to destroy documents before disposing.

Ohhhhhhh! I was looking for a group to join on here, lol. I did see the video from last year. Good stuff! I will try to make a point to watch it on December 23rd this year.
