Have spent the better part of the last week finishing a year-long project of preparing the slide show for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration tomorrow...just in the nick of time!

Phew...lots to catch up on again today!

The train was late getting to the station - so I was a little late getting home this evening. Boys...standing in line waiting for the train in this heat and humidity - I was really feeling ill! I'm okay now though. Home, safe and sound in air conditioning!

Oh...bring on Autumn! I think one of the reason I really enjoy Autumn is because I know then that Christmas is SUPER close!!! The cool, crisp days/evenings help me think about Christmas things even more!!!

Anyway, my Christmas friends...I shall bid you farewell for now. Have a lovely and merry evening...with sweet dreams about Christmas!!!

I've just been working this week, trying to get caught up. My father-in-law owns the general store here in our small town, and he's up early in the mornings, cooking breakfast bisquits. He's planning to go fishing this weekend with his son (my brother-in-law), and asked if I'd open the store for him on Friday till the morning girl gets there, and then run it all day Saturday for him. Of course I will! He and my mother-in-law do so much for us, I could never repay them!

I managed to paint what she asked and then fell asleep on the floor. We don't have any furniture yet and I was exhausted. I managed to sleep for more than an hour on a hardwood floor - somehow!

Wow! You were really tired! I hope you caught up on your sleep!

Out little guy turns 4 Friday, going out tonight to get his new Cars comforter for his bed that he has been asking for.

Super long day for me. I woke up at 6:30 and the kids got here around 8:00 am. We had breakfast and headed off for our bike ride around the school. They ride the bikes and I walk real fast along with them pushing the baby in the stroller, great exercise! We went one lap around the school then the next lap we stopped at the playground. We didn't last long. Going on 9:00 am it was already too dang HOT! Our faces were so red and dripping sweat. It's awful to be that hot that early.

We came home and cleaned up then we all headed to the mall for a few hours with my mom. No shopping, just hanging out and had lunch there, rode the kiddy train, went to the pet store, stopped at the gamestop so the kids could play video games on display, then let the kids play on the playground inside the mall. At least that one is air conditioned! :
The mall is great for free air conditioned entertainment! (lunch was not free, of course, lol).

The kids got picked up around 6 pm and I am really tired!

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great day. Heat index here was 116. I am sick of heat. I just want Christmas to get here (or just colder weather) so that we can cool off. Played tennis and I know I lost weight tonight because I had two pounds of sweat in my shoes! Ugh! Tomorrow morning when I run, I'm going to have to wear another pair of shoes. It was hot, but I love playing like tennis or basketball. I am not very good, but it is fun to get out there and run around.

Well, I gotta go to bed. 5:15 is early in the morning. Sleep tight!

Well it was officially the hottest day of the year here so far. It looks like we might get cooler weather tomorrow with a high of only 88 degrees. I have to babysit for awhile tomorrow so I am going to head to bed and get some sleep. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening my Christmas friends

Long busy day, but pay day is here tomorrow. I have really been pushing my body to the limit at work the last week, I am in pain from my neck to my knees. We have been shorthanded and all of us have been picking up the slack for all the missing pieces. The kids are doing well only about 3 more weeks until JP starts Kindergarten, I think he is a little nervous about it. But we are loaded with activities from now until then. My weight loss has plateaued I have been stuck on 22lbs lost for about a month now, just need to lose 3 more measly lbs to meet my Drs goal.

Xmas...how exciting about your little one starting Kindergarten! I'm sorry its been so tough at work. Hopefully you get a little down-time to recover!

We are close to Friday, Christmas friends!

WOW...it is currently 4:25am and it is already 23C (73F) - but with the humidity it is 32c (89F)! Okay...that's just craziness! I'm quite sure that people are going to start smacking each other on the streets from sheer frustration at this heat (or...people will just feel like smacking each other)...lol!

Emma comes again this weekend! Oh yes...it will be another fun-filled weekend full of playing - and dancing - and singing - and giggling - and lots of love and snuggles!

Well...its that time to start getting ready for work, so I will sign off for now.

Try to stay cool, all! I think what might help is some sweet thoughts of Christmas!!

I remember hearing stories of moms crying when their child started kindergarten. My daughter, who is the oldest, started kindergarten and I still had my 1 year old son at home. It didn't bother me too much, I was excited for her. I thought, wow I did great, no crying! Then my youngest went off to kindergarten and I was just fine until I dropped him off. I was choking back tears. Then I realized that when my daughter left for school that I still had the little one to take care of. When my son went there was no one left at the house! I did much better the next day. cheesy

My grandkids will not be over until noon today. I will miss our morning walk/bike ride today. With this heat it will not happen at noon! It will get up to 105 today and I am really tired of this heat!

Good morning.... suppose to be hotter today YUCK!!!! Stopped in AC Moore yesterday and they had a bunch of fall / halloween stuff out. They even had the area around the service counter decorated with fall / halloween lights and decorations. Very festive and pretty!
