Gosh I dont get on for a day and I have soo much to catch up on!

It's only been 15 hours for me and I still think it will take me an hour to get caught up.

It was about 48*with strong winds when we woke up this morning and although it warmed up slightly, it's back there again and both the dogs are hogging a radiator each!!

WOW! This has been a busy thread since the last time I posted! SWEET! I'm feeling all Christmassy today! Lol! I'm in the mood for cooking & baking & candles & yummy smells!! I think it was that really dreary day we had yesterday that put me in this "homey" mood! Ben Franklin is putting our more & more Christmas things every day!! LOVE IT!!!!

We used to have a Ben Franklins..I loved it but it has been closed for a few years now =0(

I have always wanted to get bales of straw but then I worry about mice! (and I just found mouse droppings in my kitchen, ack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just moved here a week ago and cleaned everything... guess they were subletting from the last owner!)
I love how the hay looks, though! Ooh, I love fall decor.

I love Fall decor too, I have already started looking through mine and am determined to start putting things up the last week of August haha

Thank you all for the kind words yesterday, and I am in a better mood today. Sometimes it helps to be in a freezer for 2-3 hours to get in a better mood.
My little 2 y/o is a turd, this morning my wife left before any of us got up, so when I got up this morning, I let LC out of his room, I sat down and he was chasing the kittens around like he always does. He then comes in to the room with my wife's prescription bottle saying "I eat em all" I nearly had a heart attack because he knows how to open child proof caps and it was empty, I was flipping out, I called the wife and asked her about the pills and she said it was empty and she left it on the counter to remind her to call to refill. PHEEW!
I keep looking at the countdown clock and seeing 134 days til Christmas, and I don't really think much, and it hit me today that Christmas is just over 4 months away, it is getting so close to decorating time. WOO HOO!

Thank you all for the kind words yesterday, and I am in a better mood today. Sometimes it helps to be in a freezer for 2-3 hours to get in a better mood.

My goodness... I started to catch up on reading posts then I got busy at work. Ok now I think Im caught up cheesy...at least I think I am! Well I am off work tomorrow to prepare for Dylan's Birthday party (Saturday). I spent $30 in balloons today on my lunch break..who knew balloons could cost so much..but he only turns 1 once cheesy!!!

Tomorrow I will take the Boys to breakfast and then to the park and to pick up Dylan's balloons for the party. I have someone coming to give us an estimate on our kitchen floor. We want to get laminate (like pergo) or hardwood. Undecided..anyone have any suggestions? Remember I have 2 small kids :hello: I need something that wont get damaged easily.

I, too, gasped when I read what your little one said! The panic you must have felt! Thank God everything turned out okay!

WOW! There sure were a lot of posts to read tonight!

Well...I had so many Christmas songs stuck in my head today! I was whistling and humming and sometimes singing very softly. I kept thinking...surely someone in the office is going to realize the songs I am singing cheesy.

I'm avoiding the boxes that need unpacking - still very hot in the house. We don't use a fan and there is no A/C so it is rather uncomfortable at the moment.

I have discovered vanilla red bush tea and have made quite a few iced teas - yummy and refreshing. My ice maker isn't keeping up with me, though

Went on a buying trip to Bay City. It was nice and found a lot of good things for the store. I found six Christmas ornaments for my collection and that made my day!

Whew, I finally got caught up on the thread. This week flew by....but that means Friday got here fast! August 12 and the record has been broken? Wow!

Made, my NFL fever is getting fired up. I'm really starting to lose my desire for watching the races. I'm putting up a fight.
