Hello everyone! I brought two textbooks from the bookstore because I couldn't order them online and I spent $200 on it. I feel ripped off. One of them is an online access code, the other is no thicker than today's newspaper! UGH! The others I brought online and I saved $300!

I felt the same way about the price of my daughters text books. I really do not understand why text books need to be so expensive, especially compared to regular books.

This is my Friday Also !! How Weird Is That ?? I am planning on "going to Hogwarts" this evening by plugging in one of my Harry Potter movies.......Or Perhaps I will Go and See Aslan with The Chronicles of Narnia !!! ..........I hope all will have a great day and wonderful evening !!! :rudolph:

Yep. My sister and I always go see the "Harry" movies when they come out. Can't wait for the first installment of Deathly Hallows In November !!! And who could POSSIBLY compare with Aslan of Narnia !!????

It's official. All my Christmas family including you HoosierChristmas have inspired me and I too am going to start putting out my Fall Stuff !!! Yesssssssssssss !!!!!

Wow it has been a busy day. Mom didn't start packing until this morning and then she realized that she needed a lot of stuff. So she wanted me to take her shopping. We left at 10am and just now got home. Now she has to hurry up and pack and try to get some sleep in the next eight hours before we have to leave for the airport. That is the one bad thing about early morning flights and living an hour away from the airport. You don't get much sleep the night before your flight and since I have to take her to the airport I won't get much sleep either. Well I am off to watch the Colts play Buffalo in preseason football. I hope everyone had a great day!!!!!!!!

Sounds like my husband and I going to Hallmark just about every weekend after lunch to look at Christmas goodies. You should get your husband to join here, sounds like he loves Christmas too! Just curious, what is Canadian Tire?

Canadian Tire is mostly a hardware store - but it also has housewares and sporting stuff. Its big here in Canada. The only reason I go to it is when I want to scope it out for Christmas decorations! Then...to maybe buy Christmas presents.

My husband isn't big on typing (so I don't think he'd join) - and although he likes to pretend he isn't too interested...I think he gets right into the Christmas Spirit with me! Every morning and every evening when he's driving me to and from the train station...he plays a Christmas CD in the car!

Also even though it is before Labor Day Im planning on putting out most of my Fall decor next weekend! Im very excited about that. Maybe that will bring in some cooler crisper air

Going to wait until I return from Vermont before I start with that. I have enough to do right now!

what up countdown fellas. hope y´all are doing great. we arrived from the northsea island amrum yesterday....so I am still quite tired...but the sun is out and we seem to be getting a second summer again .....at least for some days.....the weather in germany was lousy the last few weeks.....anyway....I am looking forward to fall
