Wayne and I went to a year round Christmas Store today. They have a lot! We had a great time! I posted a video of it and if you like to take a look at it go to the thread titled:

"We Took a Video of an Awesome Christmas Store Today!"

I hope you get a chance to look at it. Enjoy! cheesy

Jeff, looks like a great Christmas store you went to as well!

Yes! I just saw your video this morning! What a BEAUTIFUL store!!! Have you been there before?

Good evening all!

Busy, busy day today, we had our tag sale as part of the Town Wide tag sale, where our site was put as a star on a map and we did very very well, we made over $300.00 selling mostly our older baby items we don't need anymore. We stayed outside for the sale for over 9 hours, and then went to a party for a few hors after. I am exhausted tonight, and should sleep well.

Have a great night!

You guys did great at the sale! That's a long time being outside. Bet everyone went to sleep quickly last night!

every Year I want to go to the Backfischfest, but Time is running to fast.. I am working about 60hours a week and when I am at home I have to do a lot at Home..
And today I want to start my Decorationbuilding Plan.. :-)

Good Sunday morning, Christmas friends!

Well...I cannot tell you just how lovely it was to wake up...get my coffee...and enjoy the video that Christmas-A-Holic posted of her and her hubby's (Snow-In-Texas) trip to the Christmas store!!!

The Bay in Toronto used to create "Christmas Street". It was a magical place to go to on the 5th floor - so that as soon as you got off the escalator...you were magically transported to a street where it was all Christmas!!! It was absolutely AMAZING!!! This was quite a number of years ago.

When I started working downtown again last year - I was anticipating Christmas Street and kept going to the Bay every week to see when it would be done. But alas...Christmas Street was no more. They put up something called "Holiday Town" and it was not the same at all! I was very dissappointed.

Today I am going to pick up my Sear's Christmas Wish catalogue! Oh...the wishing that will be done cheesy. Nah...if anything - I will be looking for ideas to by others for Christmas!

Anyway...have yourself a merry little day!!!

Good Morning Everyone...It was nice to be able to turn the AC off and open the windows. Woke up to a chilly bedroom. Everytime I walk into a store the signs of fall are popping up more and more.

Onto the count:
Days to the Season: 69
Days to Christmas Day: 111

Hope everyone has a great day!

This is my first time back here since Xmas week of 09.

I believe I usually wait for the Canadian Turkey weekend before I start and not Labour day weekend, as this is a little early for me to start thinking about Xmas, however, the fact that we've hit Sept already does re-affirm that Xmas season is not too far down the road.

I even freaked out my wife last weekend when the Sears Xmas Wishbook arrived at the door and I showed it to her while she was on the phone with her sister. I think her jaw hit the floor and she totally lost track of what she was talking to her sister about. It was quite amusing.

On the shopping front, I have one dvd bought and put away since April.
That's it for now. I have a few birthdays to think about first including my mom's 60th next weekend.

Cheers!!

ML

I would love to see that! Too bad it's not the same.
morning all, another day closer!
Good morning to you and yes, I am excited about another day closer!

ChristmasHeart, I am glad you enjoyed the video of the Christmas Store we went to. We did go last year in November but it was so crowded we could barely walk through it. It would have been difficult to get a good video then. Of course the Halloween section was pretty much cleared out by then and it was nice to see all the stuff yesterday! It is located near the Dallas Cowboys stadium and when we went to the Cowboys game last year I saw a billboard for it. It has been around for awhile and I didn't know it. I looked it up and we went. So glad we found it! It takes about 30 minutes to get there so not too bad. We have 2 year round Christmas stores nearby but the other one is not as big as the one we went to yesterday.

Made, I thought of you when I saw those Santa's at that store yesterday. They really have some nice ones and I wish I would have got more close ups of them in my video. I will try to do that next time! cheesy

Good morning all!

I did sleep well even though LC woke up at 6AM, probably could have slept another hour or two, and he is Mr. Crankypants today. We have some minor errands to do today, and then hopefully relax. I actually have to work tomorrow but I get holiday pay and time and a half for working on the holiday, so I will gladly take it.

Have a great Sunday!

First morning so far that I can remember not being muggy. A nice breezy cold feeling. Must be getting close now.

Hobby Lobby is in full effect. We went yesterday just to see and I was shocked to see the Christmas section was the busiest part of the store. Love it!
