Yes, we have passed the peak-of-the week and (after another great visit to the Shispering Pines) are on the downhill slope once again to the weekend.

Let's say it's only TWO more days to our next Milestone, the 3/4 mark to Christmas Day!
(Enough said!)

A slight breeze is tickling the leaves outside the window as I type this.
It's sunny and 76 degrees here at this hour.
(And still no sign of much-needed precipitation.)

You have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks, secure in the knowledge that tomorrow is Weekend Eve and the next day sees us safely to the 75% point to Christmas.

I'm up already and just waiting to leave for a day out on the truck with my friend. She is picking me up in about 10 min. Going just over the boarder I think at Buffalo and back again. This will give me a chance to pick her brain about trucking as I study for my license.

Good Morning Christmas Friends,

Nice bright sunny day here in NJ. Temps are going back up to the 90's for the second day in a row!! :-? I am SO READY to get this hot weather over with. It's time for pumpkins, turkey, mistletoe and holly!!! Kinda in that order. Its so hard to get into the spirit of the season, when the weather feels like you should be spending a day at the beach. They are calling for a cool down in the next couple of days. Temps in the mid to high 70s! I don't consider that "cool" weather, but anything under 80s and 90s will be welcomed..I guess.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day!! The weekend is almost here and we will be another week closer to Christmas! YAY!!!!

Good Morning ALl

Today is the first official day of fall and that is such a great day since it makes it so much closer to the 3 best holidays. Once Fall hits its like a tidal wave from Halloween, Thanksgiving and then the Day all of us look forward to which is Christmas.

I agree, it seems to just take off from here. If it could rush on up to about Thanksgiving then slow down through Christmas I'd be happy!

OMG, there was an awful 3 people murder near my work. Its so sad a Mother and two really small children. The suspect they have is an army recruiter. What is wrong with people.

Btw sorry to turn a happy message to a very sad depressing one.

That is terrible. Any murder is awful, but to murder children is monstrous. Prayer sent for the family.

I guess our new mattress worked. I fell asleep at 8:30 pm! I never go to sleep that early! I didn't wake up until 6:30 this morning.

Wow! If I went to bed at 8:30, I'd be wide awake at 4:00. You must've needed the rest!

Welcome to Thursday AND the first day of Fall! Oh yes yes yes the Halloween and fall decorations are coming out from under the stairs! Ill have to take out the Christmas stuff to get to it, you know how it is. Since its a celebration today I'm including a nice Fall desktop wallpaper for anyone that wants it. I just ripped it from the "Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown' BluRay.

OH YES. For people that get Rogers cable this Sunday they are playing Halloweentown 1. If you haven't seen it watch it. Its a fun movie. Well back to watching the great pumpkin! Have a great day all!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, I finally started cutting the grass again yesterday, and almost finished! I had to stop to grill up some burgers for supper. I also sliced up a bunch of little red potatoes (new potatoes, we call them) and fried them in my cast iron skillet on the side burner. They were better than the burgers! I'm getting hungry right now just thinking about it!

HAPPY 1st day of Fall Christmas friends!!! I put up my fall decorations last night, burned my sweet potato candle & had a mug of Pumpkin Spice coffee!! I'm having a pumpkin spice coffee this morning, to ring in the new Fall season!!! I'm feeling all Fall'ish today! LOL!


Thanks Brad for making me hungry already this morning! :lol: I just inherited my Moms cast iron skillets...she was going to pitch them!!!! After raising 7 kids with them skillets, they are good & seasoned!! :thumbsup:

Good morning, everyone!

Very busy with school. Assignments, assignments and more assignments. Yesterday, I did not settle down until 8 PM. And, I was awake at 6:50 a.m. quite a long day, if you ask me. Great to come in and catch up a little while we are doing "group work."

It is quite unbelievable that we are already in fall. It seems like the trees received the notification that it is now indeed fall. Lots of trees are changing colour and I am excited to keep track of the progress as we head toward our favourite season! Winter is the next season. Christmas is in winter. Wow!

Those days will be flying back even faster now! Two days until our next milestone? Wowee! Anyway, I should get back to group work.

Been busy today, the bathroom door came off its hinges last night, so I had to fix that this morning, so I had to do a bit of grocery shopping so I decided to go to Lowe's to see how much a replacement door would cost, since the old one needs to be replaced, and gander at the Christmas selection they may have, LC and I got there and NOTHING! Two years ago we were living at Lowe's because of all the stuff we needed for the house and they had nearly everything set by now, Ii really does seem like everything is being put out later. :-?

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!!! It is crazy hot outside today for the end of september but we at least have a pretty good wind blowing. We are at 94 degrees right now and there is still a couple of hours before we reach the hottest part of the day here. I have been pretty busy today. I met a friend that is up from Kentucky for breakfast and then I had to go babysit my youngest niece for a couple of hours. Now I need to get some laundry done and clean the kitchen. They have gotten all of the soy bean fields around me cut down now so my allergies are alot better today. In a few days though they will starting cutting the corn down and I will be miserable again for a few days. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:hello: I'm already enjoying our delicious Ontario apples. Sure sign that Fall has arrived. Mmmm. Gimme some of those McIntosh, Honeycrisp, Idared and Russetts, I'll take the Cortland's too if you've got any. I don't care for Red or Golden Delicious or Empire appleas.

One of the first things I made for my family as a kid to eat was Shepherd's Pie and Apple sauce, I think I was in grade seven at the time.

First dinner I made my husband included apple pie for dessert.


:-? Totally missed that "Harvest Moon" this morning, too much overcast and then the rain started around noon and it's still coming down.

Today was a nice day outside even though it was still hot and the humidity was low enough not to make it bad. So while I was setting outside on lunch i saw a chipmunk and a squirrel playing with a pine cone which looked like they were playing soccer lol. Then I came home and my wife had done so much work in the house that i felt bad that she had done it all alone.

So all my friends have a great evening and know that if you ever need someone to talk to i am here i am a great listener and bring some great views.

What a gorgeous day it was today - Happy Fall!!!!!!

Went for a motorcycle ride - longest one yet. What fun! The leaves are just starting to change color and some of the farm fields were freshly plowed - definitely different seeing and smelling from the back of a bike!

Good evening, Christmas family

What a week !!! I am so tired tonight I can barely keep my eyes open. Today was my Friday and boy am I glad. It is so nice to sit and just be quiet without listening to docs jibber jabber on and on in my ears !!! It will soon be time for the Christmas music channel to star playing Carols!!! (Sounds of the Season on our cable system I think !)
