Good Morning everyone!

My son gave the stray cat his antibiotics this morning before I got up. He is doing SO MUCH better. He ate a lot, his eyes are almost clear and he seems happy! I am so glad!

The grandkids are here and not sure what is planned for today.

Thursday pay day for me! Its pouring rain here. We needed rain but now I think its going to be too much..there is lots of flooding and a tornado watch for us! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday. I cant believe tomorrow is October 1st!

Good morning, Christmas friends!

It is Thursday! We are over the work week hump and are two days away from the weekend! How about that? Hard to believe that the fall season is in full swing and our favourite season is approaching the homestretch! How close is that homestretch? Let's take a look!

The count:
Days to the Season: 44
Days to the Christmas Day: 86
Next milestone? A week from today until we reach that 90% Season Milestone! Homestretch, here we come! But, first... October!

Another chilly morning. But, the rain may have left for a few days (finally!) It is currently about 13C (55F). Double digits in Celsius are should start becoming few and far between quite soon. There is about 60 percent changes in the leaves. It looks beautiful. Hopefully you all get to experience such a wonder of nature shortly.

Only two more days until the weekend. Most of all, though, this is the very last day of September. Tomorrow, we will be saying farewell to September and hello to October. The final month before the month that ushers in the Christmas Season!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Still a little rainy here, and that fine with me! My father-in-law went fishing with two of his son's and another son-in-law, and left me to work at the store again. Ok, I actually offered to run the store for him. I can't take off and leave my family for 3 days like that. I'd miss them too much. And I have too much to do, anyway.

Temps forecasted to drop into the 30's starting Sunday night and the leaves at the higher elevations are turning. Peek color should be mid-Oct. The experts are saying the leaves will be brilliant this season. It is a great time of year...

It's 78 today and there's a MONSOON outside!!!! They are predicting a ton of rain which I usually enjoy but our basement is a bit damp.

We still need some of that rain over this way. We are under a Fire advisory right now because it has been so dry. :-?
