I took the day off work to finish the car-buying process, and to go into Savannah with Nancy. I hope to catch some Christmas decorations while we're there. Now she only rolls her eyes when I grab the camera to go to the mall during this time of year. LOL

8 Weeks to Xmas EVE already!!

Time is flying by and it will only get busier.

Time to get the winter tires on already tomorrow and next thing you know, it will be NOV, where it will be just a matter of a couple of weeks for the Xmas season to kick off!
When's the eggnog hitting the shelves??

One day for Halloween? I don't think so. Tonight we are heading over to a grow-ups only Halloween party. Babysitter is all lined up (actually a big deal for the Mrs and me as we rarely get a chance to go out sans kids).

Saturday is the day our county and city has chosen to observe trick or treating.

Sunday I think we will go spend a few hours at a local pumpkin patch and then have neighbors over in the evening to roast marshmallows (maybe some smores).

Looking forward to a whole weekend to celebrate and relax a little.

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! It has been a long day here. I started working early this morning and while I was out I ran into my ex-fiancee. I haven't seen or talked to her since the night I caught her hanging all over her ex boyfriend at the movies when she had told me she was in chicago. That was 5 and a half years ago. When she saw me today she came running up to me and gave me a hug and told me how much she has missed me. All I could think about was the $2000 dollar ring I threw across a parking lot after having my heart ripped out.(Do you know how many santas I could have bought with $2000) She is married now with 2 kids but she said that she wished we could be friends again. She gave me her phone number and told me to call her. We were best friends from the time we met and I have missed that friendship over the last 5 years but I don't know if it would ever work again. She caused me alot of pain and I don't think that I could ever get past that. After my run in with her I got kind of depressed. So I went to see my nieces. They had a smile back on my face in no time. Then it was off to do some christmas shopping. I found a few more gifts for my mom but I still don't really have any good ideas for my aunt. Everytime I ask her for ideas she says that she don't care so she might just end up with a gift card. Now I am going to kick back and watch some tv. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You would have been better off with $2000.00 worth of Santa's. Santa is a much nicer person than her! :wink:

All kidding aside, I am sorry you feel bad after seeing her. It takes time to heal and I know you will find your soul mate soon!

Kandice stopped taking a regular nap during the day shortly after her first b-day......sleepin during the day just wasn´t her thing lol

My granddaughter is over a year old now and she still loves napping. She is the only baby I ever seen that will just fall asleep without fussing or in need or rocking. She will be in her playpen and just decide to lay down and she is out! She has done that forever.

My wife called them later and told them we'd buy it for $45 an month less, and if they didn't like that, we were going to start taking our business elsewhere. They called back today and said ok. :rudolph: I'm trying to catch up in here, but the thread sure has grown since last Sunday.

O'Malley the cat sunk his two fangs into the back of my skull for no reason that I know of other than he might have wanted to sit on the couch. He just waltzed along the back of the couch and chomped down. He ruined the last ten minutes of "Sleeping with the Enemy" for me.

I've had cluster migraines all week since it happened. I had to stay awake until one spot stopped seeping blood. When I finally went to bed, I tried to keep one eye open. It still aches, but hopefully tonight my pillow won't sound like giant rice krispies in my ear.

Uggh. Who wants to buy a feral cat?

Wow! I have had a lot of cats in my life and never had that happen. Was he happy when he did that or mad at you? Just wondering if he was playing and got too rough. I hope you get to feeling better!

We took the grandkids to Kroger grocery store for their annual Halloween carnival. The kids had fun and came home with more junky candy! They are in for a sugar overload with all these carnivals and Halloween coming up. cheesy

That is so cute Jude wanted to see the Christmas displays again and put on his Christmas shirt.. I see a future MMC'er lol. When my youngest was born my oldest stopped taking naps. He was only 2 1/2 but I would fight him for over an hour and I thought it just wasnt worth it! He started going to bed a little earlier and sleeping in later so for us it worked out!
He totally is a future MMCer! He loves the smilies on here already!
Some days he doesn't nap but some days he does... and the pain of it is, he'll pass out wayyy too late and then go to bed wayyy too late.. ugh! Sometimes I just start singing loudly and make him dance around when he's about to pass up so I can have an early bedtime! LOL!

Same kinda of weather here in Maryland...we must be pretty close to each other! I cant wait for the 50's..just in time for Halloween

We must be! I'm right outside Philly. This weather today is great, huh?!?! It really is perfect Halloween weather... unfortunately I don't think I can take Jude out trick or treating because it'll be too chilly for tiny little Noel but I get to hand out candy! DH is excited to take him out, though.

I miss you guys! I havent had much time to be on here being busy at work and at home. I hope everyone is doing well. I am so exciting for Halloween this weekend and of course for the "start" of the season and everything else wonderful coming up... although my season has been started! I am loving how all the stores have most of their Christmas stuff up. Its such a great feeling! Its suppose to start cooling down here in Maryland tomorrow so it will feel more fallish since its was nearly 80 today! Have a great evening and I hope to catch up and be posting more within the next few days!

What a great negotiator! That is like my dad.. when we bought our last car, I was downright embarrassed by him nearly walking out on the salesman but we got a darn good price, lol!

Blech, that's a pain. No matter how long it's been, when someone has hurt you liek that, it can be hard to get past.. just go with your heart - if you don't want to be friends, then don't! Glad your nieces could cheer ya up, though!

Good Morning... Well I am off today and the next 4 days! I am going to spend some of these days off throughly cleaning my house top to bottom to get ready for holidays. We are going christmas shopping for the kids Sunday... I so can not wait as that is the BIG holiday kick off for us.

I am hoping to start wrapping next week. We already have several gifts now and after this weekend we will a ton more. I love to wrap when I can take my time with it. I hate rushing when it comes to wrapping... it makes it feel more like chore then.

Good Morning Christmas Pals,

I hope everyone is having a Fantastic Friday. After the halloween weekend is over, everything goes into full Christmas mode for me. I know there is Thanksgiving before Christmas, but since I am not entertaining this year, I can put all my focus on Christmas. I ordered a few items for my 4yo from walmart.com on Tuesday. I had it shipped to the store for pickup. It was supposed to arrive between 11/4 and 11/11. Well I got a text message my order is ready for pickup today!! Wow, that was fast. So I will be picking it up after work. I am so excited how easy and convenient it is. Well have a great day everyone. I will try to catch up on the posts later. It seems like I missing a lot going on.

My granddaughter is over a year old now and she still loves napping.

My youngest niece is the same way. She is 2 and a half and will come up to you around 11:30 every day and say that she is ready for her nap now. As soon as she hits her bed she is sound asleep.
