Good Afternoon everyone... lastnight we took the kids to the mall and guess who we saw with NO line.... SANTA!!! the kids got their santa picture done lastnight and since there were no other kids waiting Santa took his time with the kids anwsering their questions which was good as our son was full of questions for the big guy like where were his reindeer and Mrs. Claus. It was cute!

That's the only time I like to take my grandkids is before Thanksgiving. You wait in line during December and the kids are cranky before they get to see him.

my hubby is in new york at the minute, he is over there for work but will be back on monday, i'm so jealous! new york to england is a long way away, so i'm spending my time drinking mulled wine and watching christmas movies. what else is a girl to do?!

nice day ahead tomorrow, shopping for christmas decorations and stopping off for a starbucks christmas coffee - perfect!

aww you have been sooo busy! hope you daughters birthday is going to be great, and you get some time to relax soon! congrats btw, 10 is an amazing age !

Well it just ended up being the battery in moms car so I had my neighbor run me up to autozone to buy a new one. Now I can get back to decorating!!!!!

good to hear it was nothing worse! hope the decorating turned out fine...

Wellllll.... My boss calls me yesterday and asked if I could come in that Friday. My heart stopped! I told him we have had plans for that day for months (actually since Black Friday last year) but at the same time I felt bad because they don't demand much from me. He immediately said, "no worries"! He told me to have fun and enjoy the day. I can't help but feel bad for telling him that but I really LOVE that day! It's "almost" as big as Christmas for us! He reassured me not to worry. He then realized it's Black Friday and we might not get much business anyway. It's a feed store, not a Target or Toys R Us!

don't feel guilty, you should be able to spend the days that are most important to you the way you want to spend them... better enjoy it, he is probably glad you were totally honest, and it is an important day to you, so don't let your loyalty ruin your day

awww that sounds cute! amazing that you just ran into that! probably a great memory for your kids!!

Once when my son was still to little for school and both his sisters where at school, I was really sick. I fell asleep on the couch and then woke with a start realizing my son was not insight! I slowly got up(because I was to sick to move fast) tried to call him (voice not working either) and walked around looking for him. He was sitting in the middle of the kitchen table with a jar of jam and a jar of peanut butter between his legs, a spoon in each thoroughly enjoying himself.

Christmas is really in the air... they put the big Christmas tree up yesterday at City Hall in Philadelphia... our town has our parade on Saturday and the last float has Santa on it.. I can't wait! All the decorations are up on the poles in town (same Christmas trees since I was a kid!)... sooo exciting. ANd one of our local stations FINALLY went all Christmas!!!!!! Woo hoo!

As if my week couldnt get anyworse. I was hoping to send my daughter to school today, but she is now suffereing with earache!!! To top it all off Ive not slept all night as I have a cold and now face a busy day ahead with two kids But on the bright side, Chtristmas is almost here, so thats a positive

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!



Whew, this week has been trying.

• My son has been going to basketball tryouts every afternoon this week. He's not very athletically inclined (just like his dad), but he made the team! Now we find out there's practice every day, games every other day, hundreds of dollars in expenses (private school athletics cost a LOT out of pocket)...and a lot of missed family time.
• Also, my daughter's 10 birthday party is tomorrow night, and she has a few friends spending the night after the party, so my wife has had me working like a dog cleaning up the carport and yards.
• The electrical panel in my mom's house had problems, and I worked on it until late last night. I finally got an electrician friend of mine to come by this morning and pull the meter base outside so we could change the main breaker.
• My job and my business have doubled in demand for my time...no complaints there, I'm just a little stressed.
• I have a dead mouse somewhere in my closet!!!

Aside from that, everything's super! I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good afternoon everyone,

It's been a few days since I could post a greeting on here. I've been very busy and tired lately. Lots of assignments due. We're winding down this session of our in-class time. We have one more week here in North Bay before heading back to our placements (Ottawa), and teach for three weeks before Christmas break!

As for the weather here in North Bay, it is beginning to look like a winter wonderland! IT has been snowing for the past couple hours and the trees look absolutely beautiful! Nothing says "Christmas" like fresh snow on the branches of pine trees!

Well, I'm in class right now, so I should get back to it! Only a few more minutes left, but I thought I should drop by. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to catch up soon! Enjoy the rest of your Thursday, everyone!! The Christmas Season is everywhere right now. The amount of Christmas Trees that I have seen in windows over the past couple days is impressive. Soon, they will be everywhere!

I am digging my Christmas decs out of the attic right now, so I can start on the tree as soon as I get off work tomorrow! :sparkle: :dance: I hung the 1st decoration - a swag in the kitchen - it looks so RED & festive!! This is so fun!!

My tree is up and done. Outside lights still need done (dunno if I am going to do them this year or not). I may not have too much time to do anything in December. I GOT JOB. I went to orientation today and got online earlier and they had a job posted for me. So yea 430AM wakeup call. Be at the school at 635-45 and in a classroom by 7am and off at 245pm. Wish me luck please. THese are middle schoolers. LOL

Good evening all,

Just 3 more real selling days for frozen turkeys, I am so ready to be done with them at this point. One of my trees has been up since Sunday and the kittens are absolutely destroying it, almost all of the decorations are ripped off, and the bead garland is being taken off, I am so frustrated with them for what they are doing to it.

If you've already started putting up decorations you should put up pictures! I'd love to see them I think we may be putting up our picture this weekend. I'm so excited for Thanksgiving, too. Can't wait to finally have some turkey
