Evening friends! Actually didn't get to post this morning, but I did get to read and try to catch up. Talk about busy!!

Good morning, Christmas friends! It is a little chilly here in northern California. I have lots to do today--scrapbooking, laundry, etc. At least my lesson plans are all finished through the second week of January 2011!!! I worked hard to get them done before Halloween so I could relax during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope everyone has a great, cold, snowy day!

Good Morning, Sunday Friends!
The weekend is half over but just look how close we are to Christmas!
Days to Christmas Day: 20 (UNDER 3 weeks, now!)
Two weeks and 6 days. Sounds so short, doesn't it?
Yesterday, my father, sister and one of my nieces went to our local everything-that-grows Christmas supplier and bought 2 frasier fir trees and a poinsettia. As usual, we had lunch there at the "Seaboard Cafe".
Got some photos, of course, which will be placed in the Blossoms thread before long.
There are few places that are better at getting me into the Christmas spirit than "Logans Trading Post"!
COLD (but seasonal) here where we are once again in the 30's with little prospect of much warming in the forseeable future.
We even had a light snow yesterday afternoon which added to the holiday atmosphere.

Finally a day off, first one since last Sunday, I am so looking forward to my vacation now. It's a cold day here, but no sniff of snow yet and I am dreaming of a White Christmas still. I need to redo the larger tree the kittens have destroyed it, they have ripped branches off, and lights and garland off of it also.

Good morning, Christmas Family !!
I am back after spending mostly the entire day and evening at my sister's home. Yesterday was our annual decorate her tree day so at noon my husband dropped me off at her house. We had some tea then proceeded to go to one of the malls in her area. We had a FABULOUS time !! On the way there we listened to Christmas carols and talked about memoris of past Christmases. One sad note, on the way to a store we wre going to go to, there was a man on the corner. He was so cold. Looked so desperate and was holding a sign that said "homeless and hungry" or something like that. My sister pulled over and gave him what she could. I had no cash on me so I was of no help. You would have thought she gave him a fortune. His blue sad eyes lit up and his mouth became a smile as he wished us both Merry Christmas.
Now I know there are some folks who run a scam and some who are homeless who CAN help it. It is hard to ascertain who is telling the truth, who is slacking and who really needs help. I feel it is like the saying Jesus taught us.."Whatever you have done to the least of these, you have done to me......." I just wish I could have given him a hot meal or done something for him. All I could do is say Merry Christmas and try to hide the fact that my eyes were streaming.
After going to the mall my sister and I went back to her house and then my sister, brohter-in-law and myself all went to dinner which m brother-in-law generously paid for. Back at their house after dinner and in our "comfy" clothes the decorating of the tree was in full swing and full silliness !!!
The tree was beautiful when we finished. We stood back with the lights out and were arm in arm admiring our work as we softly sang Silent Night. It was an amazing moment. And one I was thankful to recognize.
After finishing the tree we watched some movies, one being a favorite of ours called The Nativity Story from 2006. As we both wept at the birth of Jesus and the reverence of this movie I thanked God for this wonderful and incredible Christmas gift of this day and evening with my sister.
I just got home a few hours ago and I am glad to be back. I missed all of you the last almost 24 hours.

Well, I'm still sick, doggone it, but I got out yesterday with the electrician and got our new city pole-mounted Christmas lights hung! Yay! (I put Rudolph on the pole in front of our house! :rudolph
The power co. still has to do the final wiring Monday, then I'll take some pics and post them.
I plan to try to stay inside for the day today and get over this...whatever it is.

hey my friends....had a christmassy day today.....first we went to church....after that I prepared a nice Sunday lunch for kandice, my boyfriend, my moms and I.....after chilling for an hour we went for our ice skating place....it was kinda , hard to do it with Kandice...she doesnt know how to do it yet.....we had fun tho...until she fell....and my skate slipped over here little thump....she was crying very hard...I tore off the clove of her hand to see her thump is still there.....just a little , tiny cut....when we drove off the ice.....she was skating like she never done anything else....lol....she told me then....she never wants to ice-skate again....then after 15minutes....we were on the ice again....it was a nice day and we finish it with Santa Clause 2
Good morning everyone! I'm gonna have a busy day today. I have to clean my disastrous room, do all my homework (which includes a project and reading pretty much a whole book so I've been procrastinating), and right now I'm babysitting. It's hard to get in the Christmas spirit with all this stress from school! I have finals next week (i think) then CHRISTMAS BREAK!!
