Christmas Countdown - 2010

GOOOOD morning every one!

A little update on the house: we taken an option to have them build it for us, but my father in law wants ALL the financial details before we make (a well reasoned) decission... and the person who is actually in charge of selling these houses told us she'd be on vacation till the 6th of december, but she still has not returned, so we are dealing with this ill-informed person, which is annoying in decissions as important as these... but they are actually not allowed to sell the house to any one else as long as we have an option so that's really exciting..

some days i worry about the summer to come, about an other whole year, but in buying a house you just can't be impatient, so that's a bad advisor this is really the house we want, we can't just go and buy a sloppier house, just because we want to move now

How exciting... amazing how one of the most exciting things in life can be soooo stressful, huh?!

poor Kandice is still sick...but now it seems to be getting better.......I put her to bed at 7pm yesterday.......at 9:30 she woke up, crying and crying and crying.....coughing...and she had a fever........we took her to the er......she is doing much better now....still a lil fever and coughin, but she slept through thhe entire night and that is worth a lot

Poor baby... glad she at least got some rest. Here's to a speedy recovery! :merry:

Talk about feeling like a mess....I feel awful. I haven't slept a whole night all week. I will wake up around 2 or 3 and stay awake for a couple of hours. Quite frustrating. Throat hurts, head hurts.....ugh! But hey, it is Friday! Things aren't so bad because of that. There is always a bright side to everything.

Hopefully, I will get to feeling better because I would really like to go Christmas shopping tonight. We will see. With us still having work next week, I might just have to stay home and rest. That would probably be better. Can you believe we just have two weekends left until Christmas? Unbelievable.

Well, I better go. Time for one more cup of coffee and then I'm going to head to work. See yall later.

I am pretty tired, too. My cold has settled in my chest, but it HURTS in my throat, especially when I cough. Throat losenges are helping a little. I hope everyone enjoyed their day. Good night!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I was up early again this morning at the store. I'm starting to get used to it now. I have to go in an hour before opening time to cook the bacon, sausage & eggs for the breakfast biscuits. I've been able to shave about 10 minutes off my prep time from yesterday! My neice comes in at 7am to run the register, and I stay till about 7:30. Then I have to go home and get a quick shower, and head to the day job. Whew!

On a bright note, the power company finally wired up most of our new pole-mounted Christmas lights. My daughter said she could see Rudolph out her window last night!:rudolph:

sorry to hear you are still feeling sick. When I get a few nights in a row with little sleep I take something to make me sleep and usually feel better again after a full night of rest.

Speaking of the bright side:
Days to Christmas Day: 15 (Two weeks from tomorrow, Guys!)
And that should brighten everyone's day.

The c-c-cold weather is still here. Twenty-Eight degrees as I type this, under cloudy skies. No wind, thank goodness.

Got what I hope will be the last of the raking done at my father's place yesteday. Dragged the leaves to the curb on a plastic sheet for the city yard waste truck to pick up on its next pass.
(Here in Raleigh, you have 2 chances in the late fall/early winter to have your leaves picked up loose at the side of the streets. At all other times, they must be placed in containers.)

Hey! Weekend Eve again. Only 2 more of those left until Christmas and the second one is Christmas Eve!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It looks like it may be a decent day here. We are finally above freezing for the first time this week. It looks like the Arctic air is going to move back in on Sunday along with some strong winds and snow. It sounds like a perfect day to stay inside and make some Christmas cookies. My plan for today is to take my mom shopping. She wants to go down to the south side of Indy to the mall. She never remembers how to get there so I just told her I would take her. Then it will be back home to watch some more Christmas movies. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Afternoon all...ITSSSSS FRIIIIIDDAYY!!!! wooo. Christmas party at the neighbors tonight and tomorrow we are having our Christmas party! I was at walmart looking around before work and bought William a 10 dollar Optimus Prime truck. Makes sounds and lights up. Now I want to play with it! haha. Well back to work I go.
