Oh, Christmas-A-Holic!! I thought you were talking about your cat at first, and I thought, "The cat's in college and makes straight As??? Then I realized you were talking about your son! Hopefully your cat could be at college and will learn his way home!

I am laughing so hard right now that I have tears in my eyes!!!!

I think my cat got a Masters Degree in, "Finding His Way Home" because he showed up this afternoon. cheesy
 
Good afternoon, Christmas friends. It is cold and rainy here in northern California. Maybe the temps will get low enough for it to turn into snow! I had to stay until almost 4:30 for a parent meeting after school. Glad to be home! I hope to be on later tonight. For now, I need to work on some lessons.

Im so glad he is home. I usually dont get on at night and was thinking about your kitty and decided to get on... and Im bored cuz my Hubby is working since its snowing here!

Sometimes I get so frustrated, my older boy went to my in laws overnight on Saturday, he likes to play video games with his uncle and his uncle lets him borrow games, in the past it has been games like Super Mario Sunshine or race car games, he started playing a video game today after he did his homework and I was shocked at how violent it was. We shut it off right away, and he took another game out we read it and it was above his age group once again. I just cannot believe they let him play these games. He is more mature with somethings for his age, we will let him watch some movies with some mild language but he knows what words he is not allowed to say (He does not get to see movies with the f-word, s-words, a-word, etc...) This is not okay and I am very upset about it. My wife already spoke to them and they apologized about it.

I don't blame you for being upset ! It is probably a good thing I was never a parent to human babies. I also would NEVER allow such violent games in the house !! IMHO I believe this country, kids and adults are becoming densenitized to violence and kids especially when it is in a GAME. KUDOS To you and your wife !!
 
Well the Boys are in bed and my Hubby is working since its snowing. I cant help but listen to a few Christmas songs (let it snow, let it snow, let it snow and white Christmas) and I am missing my lights being up. The one neighbor across the street has hers up so I am looking at them while the snow is falling. I would love a cup of hot chocolate but Im afraid I wont be able to fall asleep after it lol. Im gonna try to read some old posts since I havent been on much recently. Have a good night , sweet dreams of Christmas 2011!
 
I hope everyone has a great evening. I am off to have dinner and get some more school work done for the munchkins. I get another new student tomorrow. My third one in two weeks!

Joy to the World that Kitty came home!!! I m so happy he's back!! What a Relief it must be for :tree:you !
 
Hope evryone had a great holiday season! I live in Chicago and was planning on taking my tree down today, but we got a nice little storm of 5 inches so I decided to keep it up at least another day! Who knows maybe more.:snowball:

Well, I guess I lied, I am back for one last time.
The snowstorm must be a big one, it has yet to start, and over 50 schools and such in my area have already cancelled school for tomorrow, including my town.
I guess the estimates are now 12-16 inches and possibly over 20 inches depending on the course it takes. I will take my time driving to work, if it is too bad I will turn around and come home and deal with the consequences they may have with me at my job, my life and family are way to valuable.
