Good afternoon everyone. I have been so busy these past several days that I had not had a chance to get on here until today and good grief..... it's going to take me a long time to get caught up on all the posts. Everyone has been very busy posting away. Gotta try not to stay away so long but not sure how well that will work. Got a lot going on during the next few months. A lot of painting to do inside the house and over all sprucing up as we will be placing our house up for sale by summer.

We got about 5 inches of snow last night, going to take the kids outside in a little while to play.

Have a great evening.

It is stated that RadioJonD wants to keep a low profile on his birthday so here's to you:

Happy Birthday RadioJonD... :)

HBD RJD (trying to keep it on the down low)

Good luck to you on fixing up the house and selling it. =)

Seems a lot around here are having a hard time with their furry family members. Well I have a feather family member that is a 17 year old lovebird and he is very ill right now. He has been sick but not too bad and I have had him on an antibiotic. Last night he took a turn for the worse and I am not sure he has much time left. It's sad because he is a sweet bird. I pray he makes a turn around and gets better! He might pull through because 2 years ago he was so sick that he actually laid on the floor of the cage and miraculously within a couple of days got completely well. I hope for that as well but he is an old bird. =(

Awww...I am sorry about your little sweety xo I wish I could help !!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My little brother's surgery went ok yesterday. I talked to him for a moment on the phone about 5PM, and he was doing ok. A few minutes later, though, he started bleeding badly and they had to take him to surgery again. He doing better this morning, thank the Lord. I appreciate the prayers and good thoughts!

We didn't get any snow here near Savannah, GA, but a friend of mine in Oneonta, AL has been snowed-in for three days! It's in the foothills of the mountains, so I guess it's to be expected once in a while.

I hope you all have a great day!

I am glad your brother is okay !!!

Working from home today because of the blizzard. My husband drove out to the train station ... I hope he makes it safely. He'll have to dig his car out of the parking lot when he gets home, because it's supposed to keep snowing all day. It looks like there's a foot out there already. I'll be worrying until he gets back home safe.

I will say a little prayer for him xo

Taking my tree down now! I am sad but it's time. That thing is dead as a doornail! I am being poked to death, lol! Jude is upstairs with the hubby so I am anxious about what he'll say.. he loves the tree!

It is always awful to take down the tree....I hope you are not too sad !!! xo

I just took my tree down and did very well doing so. I am not feeling the sadness. Yay me! Every year I keep some type of decoration or ornament out all year. So far this is one I will keep out all year in honor of my little lovebird.

I will probably keep a few more things out but haven't decided which one.

What a nice tradition. I have a little birdie ornament too and I will keep it out in honor of your feather baby xo

I just realized I hit 7000 post 18 post ago! cheesy

GO YOU !!!! CONGRATULATIONS !!

Good afternoon,

Well I am home from work, I called out due to this nor'easter it has been going for 12 hours now, I shoveled my driveway and so far we have at least 18 inches on the ground they are talking maybe another 10 inches by the time all is said and done. So I wasn't even going to risk the drive and called out, there was 4-5 inches on the road and I don't have a great car in the snow.
I also decided with all of this snow I will be turning my outdoor lights for one last night because it feels so Christmasy.

Have a good day!

Good for you !!! Turn those lights on !!

Evening all! I hear it is very snowy in the states, just rainy here at the moment!
Hope everyone is well! Have my first exam of the term tommorow! Apart from the sales in the shopes here, there is no sign of christmas left, so I am replying on you all to help keep my christmas bug alive :)

Good luck with your exam. I am sure you will do well !! Oh and......To keep your Christmas bug alive......MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!

Well, it is still snowing, all my shoveling went for naught. There looks to be another 6-7 inches on the ground, so I will probably going out after dark so I can shovel in the glow of my Christmas lights. I really need a snowblower. Maybe I will open the window of the car and turn up the Bing Crosby and dig away.

Only one night? Are you saying you can't look out a window like me and see the glow from the lights on the snow and not get a warm feeling in your heart?
I am maybe going to let lights stay on longer this year due to snow fall. I can think of many other ways I might waste money and keeping the lights on a week or two more will cost the least of all of them. Will kick in to soup mode for dinner and save at the grocery store to offset cost.

You have no idea how much I'd love to have you and quite a few other members here as neighbors. I mean think about it would it not be the coolest neighborhood around?

Awesome glad to hear that feels good when you get something you really want. As we say around here "Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side and we'll catch you later"
