Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went to my son's JV basketball game last night. We were down most of the game, but we rallied in the last quarter and almost won! It was very exciting at the end! This is his first season, and he's a little small for his age, so he doesn't get to play much, but he sure likes being one of the "athletic" guys.

The water pipes froze here in our office again last night. I wasn't the last one out yesterday, so it's not my fault! I finally got a cup of coffee about 30 minutes ago. Much better!

Happy Friday Christmas buddies! This is one week I am glad to be done with. I am officially sick of winter now! My heat has been on 78 all week and I'm still cold. I don't know when but somewhere along the way I have gotten use to the warm weather here in the south,and now anytime it gets anywhere near 32F I am too cold. At the beginning of the winters I am all excited because of the holidays but after New Years it loses its novelty. I also had to buy a new washing machine this week they are suppose to deliver it this this afternoon. My old one is just 5 years old but it was a complete lemon. Hope everyone is having a good day today! I'll hopefully have time to pop back in after work!

I am so sorry. You painted a sweet picture of his walking up your arm and chirping very loud in your ear. The funeral sounds nice. I know we will do that when the time comes for our cat. I am sure you will miss him.

Good Friday morning all, well our little love bird that my wife told you all was sick died last night. Pretty sad around here, especially since he seemed like he was getting better. The last time I saw him alive was when I took my shower after getting home from work, and he was wheezing a little, but seemed fine otherwise. My wife went out to see him and came back very upset and said he is dying. We both went in and he was gone. We had a little funeral for him in our back yard and buried him. He was 17 years old, which is a long life for a love bird. Her 20 year old son was 3 when she got him. He used to love perching on our finger then walking up our arm and standing on our shoulder, then chirping very loud in our ear. He will be missed.:sad:

G'Morning all,

Missed you all yesterday. Got kinda busy. Well tonight is the night, must take down the tree. My Husband asked me to take off the decorations and the lights and he will take it outside when he gets home. On second thought, I dont think I want it to sit there with the lights and ornaments off it. No , I will wait unitl tomorrow. He will be home then and can take it out right after its undecorated. I think sitting there with a " naked " tree in the middle of Janaury would be horribly depressing.
