Morning all! Its going to be one of those weeks for me! My youngest daughter has her immunisations today, My 5yr old is on antibiotics for a ear and chest infection and eye drops for an eye infection!! and my eldest goes into hospital on friday for 4 teeth removing under a general aneasthetic (sorry if spelt wrong)

Ive barely slept for the past couple of nights due to my poorly girl coughing and not being able to settle and on top of that ive had an argument with my boss at work who seems to think I should be at work rather than looking after my children! I wouldnt mind but its so rare I have time off for anything!!!

Sorry for the rant, gonna go make a cuppa and browse the forums, roll on next week when it will all be over!!!!

Hey you guys. I just came home from working at a cake show&fair. It was great, got to meet lovely and famous cakedecoraters and got the chance to make new friends. I am very very tired now... so I'm going to get myself some coffee and rest

I'm so sorry your children are sick! It's bad enough when one feels bad, but you have three at one time! Praying all goes well for your family. cheesy

Better late than never. I finally started my new year's resolution this morning by hitting the treadmill. Quickly learned just how out of shape I was. A 7 day cruise in early Dec. followed by the holidays really did a number on my waistline.

I worked all Saturday morning, then my son had a basketball game that afternoon. Since it was the last day of deer season down here, we went deer hunting after the game (without luck).

Sunday we went to church, then to my mom's for lunch. We spent the day out there. The we had to rush home to see the new episodes being aired on the Disney Channel. LOL

I'm glad to get back to a little more normal.

Doggone!

I miss one weekend, and there are so many posts I can't read them all!

Oh yes, indeed! Our first marker on the long journey back to Christmas has arrived. The 300-day Season window has opened and the view into the territory of the two-hundreds looks great!

Actually ABOVE freezing this morning (well, just barely, at 33) with lots of sun and the promise of 40's today and 50's by tomorrow.
However, as is usually the case, warmer weather tends to bring rain which is predicted for tonight and tomorrow.

Good morn...I mean afternoon,

I spent the morning taking down my 6 ft tree and taking down all the decorations in the house except for 1 room, another week...maybe 2 that may be pushing it. It is so depressing seeing the bare wall where the tree use to be, and that is why I couldn't do the other tree today, I can't quit Christmas cold turkey got to do it gradually. It will be awhile before I can take the outdoor decorations down they are under 2 feet of snow or frozen to the ground.

Okay new topic to discuss. Who is going to watch Idol this year? I keep saying that I am not going to but I always end up watching it. I will have to at least tune in to the first couple of episodes to see how the new judges are working out.

I think I will start out watching Idol but not sure for how long. I miss Paula, she was my favorite but I am interested also in seeing how the new judges work together!

You guys are posting like crazy. I missed the weekend also and dont have enough time to go back and catch up cheesy.

We are getting hardwood floors finally installed next Tuesday. We picked out a really light maple color (I hear if its light it hides scratches better?) but I also like a dark mocha color (very dark brown). We have oak cabinets and table/chairs and want a contrast so we either want something very dark or very light. Anyone have any suggestions or experience?
