Good evening everyone! I have been through 24 hours of pure hell..to make the long story short..I mixed up my medications I just started on and ended up taking the one I'm suppose to take as soon as I wake up..In other words I took speed(adderall) at 10 at night..so I have basically been awake for 2 days..I'm suppose to take adderal for ADHD but it makes me nervous so I have to call the DR back and get his to switch me. enough about me:( Hope everyone is having a great day!

Oh , that sounds awful.I really hope you can get this all straightened out and get some rest. Keep us posted.:snowball:

Hi everyone 300th day is almost over here, and as of tommorow we are in the 200's!!!! It has been a bit of a depressing day here! Been very home sick again, it doesn't help everytime I think of home I can see christmas decor everywhere and in my street! I left before everything was down!!! Heres hoping tommorow is a happier day!!!

Where are you and where is home? Hoping you feel better soon. :snowball:

Sigh:( Really missing Christmas today, but am Happy that it is below the 300 mark after today. HAD A lazy day today, no subbing because of MLK day. Tommorow , I go in, as well as the rest of the week. Also, I should be ashamed to ask lol , but I dont understand How Merrychristmas radio works, not in the technical sense, but do you have to subscribe to it? I would appreciate any guidance you could give.

Temp here in Western Pa , is round 30 F tomorrow calls for sleet and snow with a rise in temps. Followed by temp dip and snow showers the following days.

Hope everyone is good!!!

Excellent idea! I do that sometimes, too.

Material for a future Merry Podcast, me-thinks! Record something and/or write a script and submit, shinybrite!

cheesy When Martin Luther King Jr. was making his "I have a dream" speech and it was airing on TV, I popped up and exclaimed to my family, "I had a dream too!" to which they all hushed me so they could hear his speech.

I have awesome dreams, they're always so realistic that I used to share them nearly every morning over breakfast.

:tree: I've even had dreams about meeting some of the Merry folk here and having grand celebrations.

You are so right about MCR. LOVE IT!

...My iPod still cycles the odd Christmas song through its' mix and I'm not gonna change that...The occasional blast of Christmas does my heart good all year long...In fact, if you get the urge for a blast yourselves, www.MerryChristmasRadio.com plays nuttin' but, all year long!!! We rotate shows and use various members of the community as our talent...It's a party worth attendin'!Jay

:treeguy: Yesterday, I played my Sax Playing Santa because I only heard it twice over the Christmas season and it seemed to be calling me from inside the box in the storage room.

I still have memories of Christmas here and there, I didn't pack all of it away so I can feel a bit closer to Christmas on those days that I can't swing by this way.

One of my gifts was the Peanuts Christmas book with interactive sound so it's on the coffee table to enjoy all year.

 The youngest grandkids gave me a Wooden Snowman Countdown Calendar that I can stick into a plant or snow, they were looking for a motion-activated one, but they were all sold out. My son apologized because it only started at 99 days, I said that's what we in the Christmas world refer to as "the double digits". Can't wait to use it, but I guess I have to. Maybe I'll use it to countdown to Christmas in July for practice. HaHa HoHo.

Good late afternoon, all. I hope everyone has had a great day. Today was grocery-shopping day. I don't know why, but food plays such an important part in the life of a human! Go figure!

Hmmmm.... Maybe you will be the lucky poster! cheesy

Murphman,
I am not sure how to activate a Platinum Membership. Does anyone know?

Hi Seawaters !! As far as I know you can have a platinum membership after so many posts (Listed in front office, I think ??) or someone can buy you a platinum membership. Does this help ??

That would be a dream come true!

Yes wouldn't that be great. It would be awesome to hit every time zone and go to the most Christmassy spot in each. That way one could choose a destination closest to their time zone. Im on the east coast , so Im thinking NYC at The Rockefeller plaza where the "TREE" is. Its fun to imagine.

The rest of you , what would be a great meeting spot in your time zone for the MMC'RS TO GET together.
