Wow Murder By Death a classic ole movie is just starting on TCM. Peter Falk is a riot in this. David Nevin as well in it.

Love that one! Saw it when it first came out (showing my age ...) and I have it on DVD.

Is that Turner Classic Movies ? I dont get that channel I m wating for the time when they will just Give you that channel as part of the standard package. I usd to love it when AMC really showed great classic movies. Some of the stuff ( most)of the stuff they show in my opinion hardly fit that bill at all. Plus , they play the same stuff over and over . In my opinion Antiono Bandaras flicks from the early Nineties is not classic film !

TCM should be a standard channel! It's one of the few places you can see vintage movies. But even TCM overlooks some classics. They are licensed to show films from Universal's vault, but they haven't even scratched the surface.

And AMC hasn't been about classic films in years. Shame on them.

oooohhhhhmyyyygooooddnesss. I am watching this thing called " Classic Arts Showcase. oN Some goofy local channel . I just saw Florence Henderson Circa 1964 singing som ekind of very very soprano show tune, I had to look like three or four different times to make sure it was her. Finally, at the end , they said who it was and the song. It was some Rodgers and Hammerstein number . I didnt know Carol Brady could do such things.

If I recall correctly, Florence Henderson was in the original Broadway cast of "Oklahoma!" in the 1940s. So it's not too unusual that she'd be singing a Rodgers and Hammerstein show tune!

Snowed again last night with more in the forecast Monday/Tuesday. Looks like we will keep getting exercise parking at the bottom and walking up the mountain. We saw another Coyote which makes the wife nervous about walking up at night. I'm trying to tell her to look at it as an adventure but she's doesn't agree, neither does my son.cheesy

I wish we had mountains around here. They are so beautiful! Be careful of the coyotes. cheesy

Hi all, gosh another day! Its not snowing here again, but the advantage is that slowly but surely the sun is rising earlier and setting later. The difference each day is only by minutes, but in the big picture its making a difference! I am looking forword to summer comming, as it means the second half of the year is upon us, but also because christmas in July is here, and we can have a christmas meal! The countdown for that date is into the 100's now!!

Good morning all.. well most of the snow missed up last night. Started off as rain/freezing rain and then switched over to snow. Got a coating of ice and snow. Bright side was a call this morning informing me of a 2 hour delay for work. I think I will run to the Hallmark store at lunch time and get some more ornaments for gifts for Christmas.

Good Morning from a freezing cold Indiana!!!!!!!!!!! We are currently sitting at -2 with a wind chill of -15. The sun just came out though so hopefully it will start to warm up. I need to run to the grocery store this morning and then I am going to stop by walmart to see if they have any christmas stuff left. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning from a freezing cold Indiana!!!!!!!!!!! We are currently sitting at -2 with a wind chill of -15. The sun just came out though so hopefully it will start to warm up. I need to run to the grocery store this morning and then I am going to stop by walmart to see if they have any christmas stuff left. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brrrrrrrrrr! I thought it was cold here with temps in the lower 20's this morning. You all are freeeeeeeeezing up there!

We will be in the mid 50's by the end of the weekend up until next week.

Good morning, Christmas friends. I hope the beginning of this day finds you all well and safe from coyotes and alligators. It is nippy here in northern California, but because of all the sun we get, there will be no school closing for us, AGAIN! Lots of grading to do. After school, I have to go to Office Depot to get some good pencils. The pencils we get nowadays are a bunch of crap. They break so easily, lead falls out, and some are so hard that they don't sharpen. When we got back to school on January 3, I gave out new pencils. Several broke constantly all day until at the end of the day, they were about 2 inches long! It happens to me, too, so I know it's not just the kids! Okay, enough of a rant! Y'all have a great day.

The warmest we are going to get next week is 30. They are also calling for 3 more snow storms in the next 10 days. I don't know what lead them to predict a mild winter for us but they were defintely wrong.

It's taken me three days to read all of your posts you chatty folks you! Listened to Christmas music on my way in this morning, which is my tradition on days when it snows...Started the day off right and it was a good thing, cause when I got to work, the day went south fast...But hey, that's why they call it work. the weekend is almost upon us, less than six hours for me...And not a moment too soon...

Very exciting that the 1/4 milestone is so close by!
