Well, I won fly-fishing classes in the drawings at Cub Scouts today. Don't know what I'll do with it. I like fish and I like regular fishing, but I don't think fly-fishing is inthe cards for me!

Fly fishing is a love hate sport. I have tried several times and can't get excited about it. But many I know do and love it. You will just have to go and check it all out. Then decide if it's what you like or not. Women as a rule love it.

Is that because it looks like cracking a whip?

Wow you read my mind but I wasn't going to go there.

I just called pizza place and said send me a sneaky pizza and they hung up on me.

I am just popping in for a minute. I see you were all busy today and congratulations Superdave on 2500 post!

Today was like spring weather with temps near 60, sunny and no wind. Everyone was outside today riding bikes, jogging, walking, sailing on the lake, roller blading and golfing. Everywhere we went there were outdoor activities going on. Slight cool breeze but for the most part felt decent. It should remain that for the rest of the week but I know we will get many more cold days ahead with possible snow.

Wayne and I went to lunch today and the restaurant has outdoor seating. Several people were outside and we decided to eat out there too.

I hope you all have enjoyed your Saturday! cheesy

Hi all, its 23.33 here, back from seeing 'Little Fokers' I am a fan of this franchise, and despite the critical malling the film got, I very much enjoyed it. Heres hoping the rumours of the 4rth film are true (even just for my personally enjoyment).

Oh man, missed out on an important milestone post, oh well, maybe 2,6000!! We are doing a good job and I reckon we may get to 3,000 posts before the end of the month which is still 8 days away!!!

Really interesting reading about LED's superdave, its exicitng getting to grips with whats going to be hot for next season.

Its between now and easter when alot of the christmas adverts are filmed is it not?

Hope everyone is well!

Yes rub it in, rub it in. I will will remember this come summer when you are all sun baked to well done and dumping ice in the swimming pools to keep them from boiling you when you jump in them. Oh well glad you had a wonderful day with your hubby.

Ha ha! It won't be fun this summer!

Actually I would trade you weather in a heartbeat! I WANT SNOW! I am just amazed at all the outdoor activity going on in January but this is typical Texas winter weather. In no time it will be back to freezing cold. We go from warm, cold, warm, cold all winter.

I am not to fond of summer here. Blah! cheesy

Yes I have relation in the Kilgore area so I do know about it there in summer and winter.

We got home from the Pinewood Derby, and it was so warm we opened the doors and windows!!! Summer is my least favorite season. I go to work at school a lot to use their airconditioner instead of mine!!!

I bet you forgot to tell them it was you! Then they would have known what to send you. They would have said, "Oh, it's Superdave, Mr. Sneaky Man!"

Oh they would know. I just have to call and say hi it's Super Dave send me a medium please. And in a few minutes a Meat Lovers medium will be here. They know me very well.

wANT TO know what my biggest fear is in regards to Christmas Lighting?Im am afraid that the incandescent mini twinkle lites are going to obsolete. To date , I am not a fan of LED lights, I hope i haven't offended anyone but saying that. It seemed that this year there were tons of Led lights on the shelves. Im afraid they are going to take over. Look at some of the lites of the past that are now obsolete. Bubble lights etc. C-7 S are still around but certainly not in the volume of other types. Maybe my fear is not based in reality . It was just a thought I had this past holiday season.

I don't like LED's a lot either, they don't have a warm glow, but the newer ones are getting better

You know TV of late has sucked so bad it ought to be called a “Vacuum Cleaner”.

Fred Allen said (in the 1950s) that television is called a medium because nothing is well done. Just as true today, I guess!
