Low 40's at this point would be shorts weather around here, we have had very few days above 30 since early December. Our oil is burning at a record rate this year.

Well we missed all the snow here from the so called storm. Got a flake or two maybe but thats it. Several miles to the north of me different story. have a friend north of me where they got another 8 inches on top of what we had the other day.
Well today is last day of the Barrett-Jackson Auction do a little more drooling over it then be done for a year. The Haggerty Fantasy Bidding has not been good to me this year, oh well just proves I am out of my league there.
Trying to decide rather to turn lights off after tonight or leave on for a few more nights. Might wait till snow melts some more first. Either way the final night is a coming.
Well one more week and the cars will be racing at Daytona and I wil be happy, happy camper as that means the racing season is off and running. That means warm temps coming, more time in the shop, and yard wow have to rest here a minute just had such a brain rush thought I was going to pass out.

Afternoon all,

We finally got our grocery shopping done, and let me say it is such a blast shopping with 2 crabby kids. I feel so tired and lazy today, we had some minor plans but sleeping in and getting the shopping done later sort of canceled those thoughts. Sorry, but I have had no interest in the football games today, all I can say is I hope one of the NFC teams wins the Super Bowl as I cannot stand either Pittsburgh or New York.

Good Afternoon MMC!

things have been busy here I see!

Finally got a chance to get in and say hello.
Very cold here all day, warmed all the way up to -18c. So to celebrate I am making a nice big pan of meatball soup, got the stock simmering now and it is making the house smell great!

I talked with my wife about our future Christmas store today, and we have set the goal to be about 5 years from now to be up and running, we want to find a good location in a strip mall or plaza to start, and go from there, I have ideas on what I want, and what I don't want is in a mall where you have to follow the mall's hours, I would rather make my own hours. Since to start it will probably be myself or wife when needed to run the store I can't expect to have too many employees at the beginning.
