Christmas Countdown - 2011

Well it looks like the Vice President is coming to town tomorrow. He is going to be at a battery manufacturer about 3 miles up the road from me. So I guess if I want to go anywhere I better go today.

Hey everyone! Our hardwood floor is being installed today FINALLY. My Hubby and a guy he works with were tearing up our old ceramic tile and leveling the floor all weekend. We are having it installed in the small foyer, part of the hallway and kitchen. It was a hard weekend not being able to use the kitchen or the whole first floor of our home for that matter since everything from the kitchen was moved into the living room.. I have had no computer at home since it has been unhooked during this project. I cant wait to get home and see the final results!

Hope to catch up once again on ALL of these posts sometime soon. Have a great Tuesday Christmas friends and Happy Rudolph Day! Cant believe we will only have 10 more Rudolph Days until the "Big Day" cheesy

Almost done cleaning up around here. It has warmed up all the way to -2c, after the last few days that is down right balmy!

I hear ya! We still have a TV with a picture tube, too, but it's in pretty good shape, so we'll probably just wait until we have to replace it. We don't watch Blu-ray or HD anyway.

Hope you have a radio scanner to catch all the action! If you don't (and for the rest of us), it might be available online here. See if your county is in the list. You won't believe the commotion involved with dignitary visits!

My phrasing was a little off with that post (I changed it there). I should have said that I posted "a source" for thirty to fifty hours of downloads.

I need to make clear that I did not post or produce any of the material contained at the webpage. I just dug it up to share with you fine folks!

I am old school with my tv's. I don't own a flat screen yet. I will hang onto my old big bulky tv until they give out. As long as there is a picture, I will put it to use. :lol: It's always been a "me thing", tv technology is not a biggie for me. I just need a picture to view. Now, I do see the advantage of the room you have if you own a flat screen. I am glad you are enjoying your tv! cheesy I am sure I will own a flat screen soon when one of mine goes out. =)

When it comes to computers, I do love top technology and really wanting a new laptop BADLY!
 
Morning all! Its Rudolph day! YAY! Not much new with us. Saturday we officially unplugged the Christmas lights on the house and the neighbors followed suit. I still have my stained glass tree on my desk all year round. So thats awesome. Well back to work I go! Have a great one everyone!
 
Only 5 more posts to reach 2,900. Yak it up, Christmas People. After that, it will only be 100 to hit 3,000 in ONE MONTH!!!
 
Good morning, Christmas friends, and happy Ruodolph Day. It is supposed to get up to 70 again here in northern California, so obviously no snow for us. I hope everyone has a great day and spends it doing something Christmassy!
