Nope. I don't think he even has to open any cans when he cooks. We get to help make the homemade pasta today. He has a separate kitchen in his garage for all his large-group cooking.

Does his last name happen to be Boyardee? jk cheesy

Nowadays, being on a 6-1 calendar is a blessing. It sure is great to get a break right when we seem to need one. We have a shorter summer, but that's okay with me.

School vacation week up here also, my wife is glad it is here.

Please take good care of your sweetie. I am positive she would do the same. Tell her we are thinking of her and send out best get-well wishes!

My poor sweety is very very sick. She was up all night as was I trying to take care of her. She can't keep anything down, and has a temp of 101, I will probably end up taking her to the doctor. I have never seen her this sick before, I'm worried about her.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is overcast and cold here in northern California. I had a very peaceful dream about one of my good friends who died last year. She and I always had lots of fun at school and could make each other laugh in the face of some not-so-great situations. I just love to have dreams like that when I wake up so refreshed and at peace. I've had lots of those about my mother. I do miss them, but I know they are in a better place. I hope all of y'all have a great day. I know I will!

Morning friends. Up and drinking coffee for about an hour now....wife had a bad dream which resulted in my getting a busted nose....ouch! Needless to say, it's hard to go back to sleep after that. She felt really about it, but it will be ok. It was just kinda rough.

I hope your nose is feeling better!!!!

Good morning Christmas pals, the weekend has finally arrived! and as we creep along into late Feb spring seems to have arrived full force here! I plan to lay new sod in my yard this weekend and put down a new irrigation system. That will take all weekend but I am looking foward to getting started on it! Hope everyone here has a safe and happy weekend. And (3 day weekend) to those that it applies!

Have fun working in the yard!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! The temperature here is starting to get back to where it should be for this time of year. We are expecting a high of 47 today and then monday we are down to 35 with snow. My plan for today is to kick back and watch more nascar coverage this afternoon and then this evening I need to run to the store to get a few things my cousin requested for our daytona 500 party tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

Regular, white glue is made from various synthetic chemicals. The chemical molecules are in the form of polymers, or long strands. Some are sticky, and others are stretchy. The proper combination of stretchy and sticky polymers make good glue. White glue also contains water. When the glue is exposed to air, the water evaporates, and the glue hardens and dries. When you glue things together with white glue, it's the evaporation of the water that allows the bond to hold. This is called mechanical adhesion. In the bottle, the water within the glue is protected from air. It remains in the glue, and the glue stays in its liquid state. That's why it doesn't stick to the inside of the bottle.

My favorite imponderables are (A) Who proofreads Braille books? and (B) How do they mark the errors? Probably the quick-and-dirty answers are (A) proofreaders who read Braille and (B) with Braille markings, but to me that still begs the question of just how it's done, since proofreading usually involves comparing two copies. (I know: "get a life." cheesy)

I am taking good care of her. Right now the best way I can do that is let her sleep, she didn't do much of that last night. I did get her some stuff to replenish her fluids, she was afraid she was getting dehydrated.

And you are right, she does take good care of me.cheesy

Sweet I like the comeback........ Sort of like the question

Do people who use sign language see little hands in their head when they think about what somebody said, or do they hear the words in their head?

Now you only touched upon the simple glue what about all the ones you missed? And how about the most popular glue used for making Christmas decorations?
