I am trying to talk my sister into going to Santa Claus, Indiana for vacation this year. That way she can takes lots of pictures for us.

I was not aware there was a Santa Claus Ind. how cool! Maybe I should have booked my summer vacation for there instead of montana. I will google it to see if maybe I can take a 3 day weekend up there it sounds cool.cheesy

A great attitude indeed! Helas, I am totally incapable of thinking this way! I try to be positive, but I lay awake every night worrying and worrying! I make a problem that's not even there!

I can be quite a worry wart! If someone is ill, I cannot stop worrying. I think the absolute worse. Here's the reason though, my son almost died twice on me when he was a baby. It's ok to worry over something big but just don't sweat the small stuff! =)

So this means we are almost under 200 days until october 1st when I decorate for halloween. this makes me feel so much better when it gets down into the 100's. I'm so glad I found this website,it seems like we reach milestones every single day or are about to.cheesy

What a beautiful day today! While my granddaughter took a nap Wayne kept an eye on her while my 5 year old grandson and I went outside to clean up the back and front yard. He was so eager to help and was a great help!

My granddaughter woke up and we had a picnic outside and after we cleaned up a little more and the kids played.

Speaking of snakes, I was raking and raked up a little snake. It was so cool looking but I never know which ones are poisonous. Thank God my dad was here because he knows some about them. He said that one wasn't. My granddaughter was having a fit to pick it up. Nope, that wasn't happening. The snake looked really annoyed and not a good idea to handle it. Then she got sad, she really wanted to hold it.

Then the mailman came by my house with a little dog and asked if it was mine. I was shocked because we have so many stray dogs running around without tags and was surprised he was trying to find this dog's home. I told him I would take him and see if I could find his home. A few hours later I found the owner. He was a good little dog and well behaved but my boy dog did not like him one bit!

Going to clean up a bit and get ready for American Idol.

Definitely from primary sources. I watched the Boston Blackie on TV. Wait--my "source" watched it. Loved George Stone. Also, on another note, Hubby looked at me crazy the other evening when I told him we had to go to the store. It was the day before the predicted snow. He had NO IDEA!!! Those actions are inbred in Southerners, at least those used to getting snow!

Let's call it "research from primary sources" ... ;-)

Mr. says there was also a Boston Blackie TV series ... I hadn't heard of that. Only knew about the book/stories and the 1940s B-movie series with Chester Morris. And George E. Stone, one of our favorite character actors.

I agree!!!!!! My sister is looking at going the 10th through the 16th of July. Her husband doesn't know if he can get it off of work though and that is the only week that Lincoln state park has any cabins available.

Good evening, as we March toward Christmas,

My day off was okay, I got 2 out of three things done, I skipped the oil change because the guy at the service desk was a complete twit and acted like I was an annoyance by interrupting his job of HELPING people. I left ticked off and went to my former place of employment of more than a decade ago since it is going out of business, walking around brought back some fond memories of such a horrible place to work. Little LC was breaking my heart when I dropped him off at daycare, his little lip sticking out not wanting me to leave, he didn't do that when my wife dropped him off yesterday, he wanted to stay with me for a change it made me feel good, since he is such a Momma's boy.
