Christmas Countdown - 2011

We very high winds here this morning. I don't think I've ever heard the wind make a noise like that before. My friend at work said the wind picked up her dog's kennel, and threw it into her truck, breaking a window. It's still very windy, but not as bad as this morning. It's still a good day for hot chocolate though-think I'll take a break and have some!

Oh, and Made is terrific!

Good afternoon!!! It's a sunny, windy, Cold, was just just spitting some snowflakes kind of Ohio day!!! Good news is tonight is the last night in the 10 day forcast they are calling for temps that start with a 3! I am more than ready to wave GOODBYE to the 30's!!! :-D

Sounds like everyone is having a good day! Looking forward to the Pines tomorrow!!!

Terrible storms here last night. We lost power at 10 last night and it stayed off until 5 this morning. Many folks around here are still without power. Lots of downed trees and wind damage. The temp was 70 yesterday. This morning it was 32 with snow flurries.

Made is terrific.

Sounds like the same storm that hit us. It tore off some of my house! Stay safe there!

I am having a lazy day, did laundry and dishes and that has been about it, I will be picking up the boys in about 30 minutes. They have their swim class tonight, only 2 classes left.

My mom was in Maggie Valley over the weekend, and the local weather forcast frightened her enough for her to cut her trip short. She packed up and came home yesterday. Now she says she's ready to go back!

Good afternoon, everyone. It is breezy, with clear, sunny skies. I had to use the AC on my way home from work. But with my Christmas CD playing, I could imagine that it was December! I had a parent conference after school that went well. The parents are so great with each other and with their child. I love it when blended families do this well and raise such great kids. On another note, some problems with another kiddo that ultimately involved the authorities. Such a sad case! Hopefully things will work out. I have to get ready for a meeting pretty soon. Hope y'all have a great day. All of the storm stories scare me! Take care.

Today has been really rough on me. I have been so exhausted all day and I had the kids for 11 hours feeling that way. I am now laying in bed watching Deadliest Catch and I am sure I will be asleep real soon!

Good evening,

Looks like it was pretty slow day in here today, everyone is sleeping accept me, my wife turned in early, and I am watching Hot Tub Time Machine with my cat Ophelia, she loves TV for some reason. Red Sox lost again, I hope they turn this around quickly got the Yankees coming to Boston on Friday. I wanted to run to the Goodwill today to see what Christmas stuff was there, but I just didn't feel up to it, I felt very shaky and sick. I feel better now at least. Thank goodness there is only one more swim class left, LC is done with it, JP is doing great with it so we may sign him up for the next class and keep LC out of it for a little longer.

Got assigned a truck so I will soon be heading out on the road. Just waiting for my partner to finish up her training.cheesy
I am supposed to go out and get it loaded up with my stuff and practice backing today, but will have to call first and see if it is ready to go.

She was smart. Lots of folks still without power. The college where I work still has several buildings without power. Weather is fine now. Temp was 28 this morning when I left for work.
