A muted sun is trying to shine through here this morning where we have already reached 71 degrees.
A good chance of rain by this afternoon, evening and tomorrow.
Onward and upward (I mean downward) with the count:

The 1/3 Milestone to Christmas Day arrives 2 weeks from today.
The 200-day Season Window arrives 2 weeks from tomorrow.

Wow, all those sad puppy dog videos had me depressed; thanks to Coach for lightening it up for me!
I left work early yesterday and went to Parris Island, SC with a cousin to pick up some tool boxes we'd bought. They are so heavy, I don't want to unload the trailer now! Nice ones, though. It sure was nice on the island yesterday...78° and a light breeze off of the water!
It's raining here this morning, and like gabulldawg said, it should be beautiful this week.

Morning all. I need a delorean with a flux capacitor to go forward to the pines tomorrow! I need it! I did have half a pot of coffee this morning to myself! It was fancy french vanilla coffee. We had to grind it up. That was the highlight of my morning haha. Tell Carl I'd like a jug of coffee for tomorrow. That would wake me up! This weekend is the Niagara falls trip! I can't wait to get away. I have missed Niagara falls. We used to go every year. Well back to work I go. Still waiting for a call from the other job! Have a great day all. Don't forget to tip your waitress (No Carl, you wearing a smock doesn't count!).
I was on vacation for a week and missed probably 50 pages of the countdown! I read a few yesterday, but couldn't get to them all. Mom, DD, & I went to The Incredible Christmas Place. I bought a plush Elf on the Shelf for DD & fireplace matches in a Christmassy tin with our initial for DH. Nothing for poor old mommy! DD had me to take her picture with large characters all around the store. She's a Christmas fan just like me. DD is all geared up for the Easter egg hunt & it's almost two weeks away.

The last time we were in The Incredible Christmas Place, my daughter struggled over which "suprise" she wanted most, the Elf on the Shelf plush doll or a Rudolph doll. She went with the Rudoph (my personal favorite!).:rudolph:
Glad you had a good trip! It's hard not to have a good time in the Great Smoky Mountains, though!
That is what I average for sleep, I just don't sleep to well. Every once in awhile I do sleep in, but that is a rarity.

Good afternoon,
Just got home from LC and my trip to the doctor, he is healthy as a horse, he is 40 inches tall and 38lbs at 3 y/o. He is so stubborn though, he wouldn't step on to the scale at first, and just hates going there. He got a shot, and his finger was pricked for the lead test. He was so upset, but he is a trooper. We went to the mall just to kill time, and then went to BK where he ate his lunch, and then played on the playground for nearly an hour. He fell asleep on the way home and is napping right now. The Hallmark store in my closest mall still has a ton of ornaments left, they are still only 50% off, and there are some from earlier in the decade. I was good and didn't purchase any, nothing I really liked was the true reason.
