Here I am checking in once again. Hope everyone is doing well. Im excited about Easter this weekend and we will be leaving for a Family vacation in Florida in 3 weeks. Im going to try to catch up on some posts. I hope everyone has a Blessed and Happy Easter!

Good to see you. I bet you can't wait to go to Florida. Are you going to Disney World? I have not been there in over 10 years. We had a blast when we went.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!! It is a beautiful day here in central Indy. That is going to change overnight when the rain returns. It has been a busy morning here. I took my niece to the store while mom did some laundry and then we played outside for awhile. Now I am exhausted and need a nap but first I have to take her home. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am like you, when my grandkids leave I am ready to collapse! They keep me busy!

it is almost 11 pm and getting tired a lil. kandice caught a stomach bug and was laid low half of the day...then suddenly after the going to see the doctor....she was up and all fine....she only had light food and tea...and she is fine........recovering so quick....I wonder if she was sick at all

Kids bounce back so FAST! I am glad she is all better.

The boys went on an Easter egg hunt at their daycare today, they had a blast and are really exhausted what the Easter bunny will bring them.

I missed out watching the kids hunt for eggs last year. :-? They all came to church with me last year but had to go straight over to visit other family after it was over. This year they plan to stay after church for the Easter egg hunt there. I can't wait!

Good afternoon, everyone. Had a grueling day at school. I am definitely exhausted. (Grueling was one of our vocabulary words this week!) Today is my Friday, and I am looking forward to being off for ten days (including weekends, but who's counting?). I hope everyone has a great rest-of-the-day!

This is the latest I have stayed up on my own in a while! Usually the dogs keep me up, but tonight it's all me. Watching some movies, drinking coffee, and reading the boards...not too shabby.

Next three days are going to be the best, so tomorrow I will clean the house, do some laundry, and cook supper for the wifey! Saturday and Sunday will be easy and relaxing days.

Sunday, we will cook out and have some family over. That's going to be fun!

Good morning everyone.... over cast here today.. I am hoping the rain holds off long enough so I can get outside today and plant my flowers in the flower beds. I have 30 plants and everytime I was going to plant them it rained and of course when the weather was good I had to work or had a family function.... Oh well I will get them planted sooner or later....

Happy Good Friday everyone! When I get off work today I am going to plant my summer garden per tradition. That is something my grandfather did(good friday planting) and he had a huge garden like the size of a football field..Mine is just a small one. last year I planted tomatos,onion,potato and corn. I think I will do the same this year but add peas and possibly later in the summer put in some pumpkins. Anyhow I have pages upon pages to catch up reading on. You guys are the greatest! Hope everyone has a great and a safe Easter weekend,if you are traveling!

I think I picked up a touch of the stomach virus. I'm not feeling too chipper today. If I can tough it out through today, I'll have a long weekend to get over it, though.

What is it with the stomach bugs lately (and worldwide, too)? Some of my co-workers have had a nasty stomach bug---where Mr. works, nearly the entire floor had a stomach bug at some point this week. I'm hoping everyone who has it feels better soon. I want it to stay away from me, 'cause I'm going home to visit in a couple weeks ...

When I get off work today I am going to plant my summer garden per tradition. That is something my grandfather did(good friday planting) and he had a huge garden like the size of a football field.

My grandparents had a HUGE garden too, veggies AND flowers, plus a green-apple tree, a walnut tree, and a little grape arbor, plus a little greenhouse he built from an old toolshed, where he kept flowers blooming all winter. All this in their backyard, decades after they sold their farm. My grandfather was the neighborhood go-to guy if your African violet wouldn't bloom (but I can't even keep a houseplant alive). I REALLY miss his home-cured country hams.
