That is something my grandfather did(good friday planting) and he had a huge garden like the size of a football field..Mine is just a small one. last year I planted tomatos,onion,potato and corn. I think I will do the same this year but add peas and possibly later in the summer put in some pumpkins. Anyhow I have pages upon pages to catch up reading on. You guys are the greatest! Hope everyone has a great and a safe Easter weekend,if you are traveling!

I have a small garden going right now. I have it in big rubbermaid tubs and it's going well so far. The soil in my yard is not good at all so I decided to use the tubs instead.

Same with me and my grandkids!

I let them get by with more stuff but I don't throw them around (I am too weak, lol) and I don't let them jump on the bed but they get to run through the house. =)

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is going to be a wet day here in central Indy with 3 inches of rain predicted for today. Thankfully it doesn't look like we are going to get any severe storms. My plan for today is start getting ready for easter. I want to get my celery and onions chopped and my eggs hardboiled today. I am also looking for some kind of new vegetable dish to make. I hope is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is gloomy, overcast, and a little windy here in northern California. Hubby just fixed homemade walnut waffles that were delicious. I eat mine plain with butter, no syrup. It was sooo good! We are planning to attend Good Friday Mass at noon today. I hope everyone has a great day!

It is a gray day here in Ohio and chilly which fits with Good Friday. My mother taught me that it is hardly ever sunny on Good Friday because of the day it is and at least here in Ohio she has been right nearly every year !!

I am so utterly exhausted today. I wanted to attend Good Friday services but I am not going to be able to as I am simply worn out.
Once again, a promise broken. I bet when I post there are groans....."Oh no, is she posting AGAIN about God ....." I don't blame you..........I am sorry to be a drag if I am one. If for no other reason, I talk about such things as a personal way to for honor Him and not to cause controversy or to be a zealot of sorts....

Anyway.........SO GLAD IT IS THE WEEKEND !!!! I get my hair done tomorrow..UGH...........there is so much gray I don't know if there will be enough color to go over it !!!! This job is the hardest job I have ever had. It is a good job. I just hope I can keep up with it.

I ran a mile and a half this morning around the school then came home and cleaned up the front room. We use it for storage since we don't have a garage and was in need of organization. I am glad to get that done!

I plan to watch Jesus of Nazareth and The Ten Commandments sometime this weekend.

Glad to hear Crown got through the tornados. My city got torn up pretty bad (Fayetteville) on the north side but all my family and friends were not affected. Can't believe nobody died looking at the destruction. Unfortunatley, 24 others elsewhere in my state weren't as lucky.

In my job, I sell concrete poles for ballfield lighting. I am working on helping a school replace some poles that the tornados brought down.

Can you imagine what kind of wind it takes to break concrete poles??
