My right index finger that the piece jabbed out of it with a knife is healed now!!
I have to say that while I think the three kids who are left on American Idol are AMAZINGLY talented...I am really upset that James is not going to be part of the finale......I mean really......Pia AND James kicked off ???

Ok I will admit that not only am I not a cat person but I was glad to see James go last night. I am a country guy so James and his high notes just didn't do it for me.

If you still have any problems, this stuff really works! We sell this at our feed store. I had an issue with ants in my kitchen at one time. When I put one of these baits out I noticed a WHOLE BUNCH more ants came out and all over this bait. You don't want to kill them, you let them eat this stuff because they take it back to their home and feed it to others. By the next day they were all gone and I didn't see anymore! I have even recommended customers to place these out along with spraying.

Thanks for the tip!!!! We always seem to get ants around our backdoor at somepoint during the summer.

Isn't it funny how your interests change throughout your life. There was a time and not too long ago that on a friday afternoon I was just getting started..My idea of a great weekend was going out and staying out all the time. Now that I have entered my mid 30's my idea of a good friday night is eating dinner in and watching some tv before turning into bed!! yep I am turning into my parents right before my eyes!

I know the feeling. 5 years ago I was usually home about 6 hours a day and that was to sleep. Now I would rather be at home instead of roaming all over town.

We might have to worry about Crown attempting to make the worlds largest cup of sweet tea by throwing cases of tea bags and sugar into the pool. cheesy

Thanks CAH I will look for that the next time I go. Last year I got this white powder stuff from the home depot that I heard really worked,it smelled like sulfer and it so expensive too,I forget the name of it,but It worked and killed all the ants on a bed,but then the next day you would still find another bed 5 feet away.lol gosh those ants know how to survive don't they! I am hoping the stuff I used today will help. last year they got all in my cabinets while I was away on vacation,it was a nightmare as I had to throw alot of food and cereals...

I bet that was acephate (active ingredient) name brand Orthene and probably other name brands as well. That stuff smells AWFUL and only for outdoor use. It sure knocks out ant piles. Not sure if that was it but sounds like it.

Not sure if the Terro will work for red ants but the little kinds that get into sweet stuff. The terro has a sweet taste so make sure it's not set up where your dogs can get to it!

So in honor of friday the 13th I am going to watch my halloween movie collections tonight..I have not watched them since last fall. I will start with halloween 1,then halloween 2,then halloween 4,then if I am still awake halloween 7 (h20)! I am going to crank the a/c down to 72 to get it cold in here and pretend it is Autumn...I just warmed over ham from last night,tomorrow I will cook lasagna(homemade)! I have to get something off my chest!! I am watching the news and they are interviewing a lady who gives her 8 year old child Botox injections because she don't like the way her face looks..(at the age of 8 !) absolutly crazy!

Also tonight I am getting worried about my little dog pookie...She has terrible allergies which results in her itching and biting her arms and legs..she even pulls the hair out. I have taken her to numerous Vets and finally found one that helped diagnose her condition. They even made up shots at Yale university vet school for me to give her. The Vet said not to get my hopes up it could take 3 months before they work,I have given her a shot every other day for the last 21 days and she just lays around and I can tell she does not feel well. Starting next week i give her only one shot a week. I am just worried all this is not working...The Vet said he could give her steriod shots but they are very bad too even though they can help with her allergies they also have bad side effects...I hate to see her feel bad!

that is so dangerous, especially since the mom is giving the injections to her daughter. All that for a beauty pageant (I think those should be banned by the way, terrible what parents do to their kids!)

Plain and simple it is child abuse and the mom should have to go to parenting classes and possibly loose custody for a while...Imagine teaching your child that your "looks" are that important that you would inject them with poison! GRRR btw we need an angry red face smileys.
