I have some pics to post soon from my vacation.. I hope to have them up by the end of the week for you all to see. I hope everyone is having a nice Tuesday. Tomorrow I am off work and will be making a nice chicken, mashed potatoes, rolls, gravy etc.. dinner to celebrate RUDOLPH DAY! Just think we only have 2 more months until Christmas in July and only 6 more Rudolph Days until USA Thanksgiving and 7 months until the big day..I think these past 5 months have gone by pretty fast! Im going to start my Christmas shopping very soon.. as soon as I finish paying off the bills from our vacation! I cant wait to start planning for Christmas 2011!

Good afternoon, everyone. Finally I am home and can take a pain pill. I can hardly believe how my mouth hurts! I am sure, though, that it will get better every day. I am off to a meeting. Hope y'all have a great rest-of-the-afternoon and evening! Jude and Noel's Mama, did you like your prize?
 
Elvis movie on tonight! "Tickle Me" filmed in 1965....not a Christmas one, but it is one I actually have never seen. That is odd since I thought I had seen everyone of his movies. cheesy

It looks like it is going to be a rough couple of days as far as the weather goes. Mom stayed home from work again today. Her migraine is better but still there. OH NO - I turned the news off earlier because it was just so sad. Those poor folks... thinking of OK residents.

Stay safe! One of my friends is in TX and herhubby is out of town, so she's alone with the 2 kids and petrified... she put together a disaster kit!!! GOod idea, if ya ask me.
 
I've been having a "bad luck" day today - spilled my coffee EVERYWHERE this am (didn't get a drop on me and my beloved mug stayed in tact, so would ya look at that!), leak under the sink (easy fix, hubby says), smashed my cake dome (broke the plate part of it a few months ago so Iguess it's a sign thatI need a new one!), and I just cut my thumb somehow, and it's pretty deep, and Ihave no clue how!! But then ya think about all those folks in Joplin, and now OK and I just get angry at myself for even getting down for a moment! I have a blessed life and those are silly "problems," if you could even call them that!

On a happy note - I made gnocchi for the first time and it turnd out great ! And I made some fun rainbow cupcakes that were delicious and brightened my friend's mom's day!

Ha! Another Elvis fan! I think I sawthis one. I'm like you...I've probably seen all of his movies!

Oh dear...I know what the migraines are like. I hope it subsides completely! Maybe a nice hug from her son would help cheesy

I hope you got your AC unit in! When you do...how about putting the AC on really high...shut the curtains...and play some Christmas music (or watch a Christmas movie)! Just imagine it! cheesy

Sitting down relaxing my heel, it is really bothering me today, I may not get the lawn mowed with the threat of rain, and the heel. So I will clean up in the house, after the boys ran roughshod through this place. Another exciting game last night, just one more win away reaching the Stanley Cup Final, the goalie Tim Thomas was great, the radio commentators were doing those jokes like the Chuck Norris thread, my favorite was "Superman wears Tim Thomas pajamas." I may surprise my wife and kids by making chocolate chip cookies for them.
