I think that sitting out back in the cool of the morning for breakfast is going to be my new routine this summer. It is so nice and peaceful here.
Also, cooler than in the house, need a sweater this morning as the wind is gusting.
Never did get that storm last night, so I had better water everything back here today.

good morning party people. kandice woke up to a little tummy pain and a slight fever....I dont know what it is or was....but she seems to be back to normal again....weird.....maybe she was growing tonight....sometimes they get a lil fever from it.

at 10am i will call my former employer....i might be able to start working there again....not the same position...but a job is a job eh?

I'm glad Kandice is feeling better, Track! Good luck with the potential job!

Good morning, Christmas family!

The sun is shining and it is breezy out. I have to go to the mall today and check on the booth. It will be a fun morning of dusting and rearranging - I get to mingle with the customers, too, which is a lot of fun! I love hearing their stories and watching their faces light up when they see an item that brings back so many memories!! Later on I'm going to browse shops for new stock. If I get back in time, I will log in a few hours in my other job. I got in quite a few hours yesterday and am paying the price today with a headache - hopefully it will be gone in an hour.

Another warm night for sleeping, got my trusty old fan blowing though. The boys were nuts tonight, kicking and punching each other, such a relief some nights when they go to bed, even though LC has already woken up with a nightmare once tonight. Back to work tomorrow, 3 days off was great just didn't seem like enough though, but does it ever?

Happy 1st June christmas chums!!!

Can you believe how fast the months are flying by! we'll be putting up our decs before we know it!!!

My kids are on a weeks break from school this week, we have been swimming and to the park and taking the dogs out. We are getting 2 new pets this week, 2 baby bunny rabbits! We are really excited, my eldest 2 daughters cant wait, its their jobs to help me look after them and clean the hutch out etc...

Going to make a coffee and browse the forums!

And a happy June 1st to you too! I agree...the months are going by soooooo fast! Isn't that exciting!

Good morning Christmas friends!

I'm just about at work. I actually didn't get home from work last night until 8:30pm! Yup...it was a long day. I presented a job offer to the one I'd like to hire to assist me - and I'm pretty sure she will accept!

Oh...just wanted to share that I found out my grandchild who is due in October is a GIRL! That will make 2 granddaughters! Everyone is soooooo excited! Another little one to share my love of Chritmas with!

On another forum I was a member of they had a thread for people to take pictures of their computer area. It was actually interesting to see where everyone was when they are on the computer chatting.

We are getting 2 new pets this week, 2 baby bunny rabbits!

We sell rabbits at our job. Just word of warning but sometimes putting 2 rabbits together can be trouble. As they grow older they become very territorial and start to fight. We have warned customers of this and they buy 2 anyway. A couple of months later they end up bringing one back or buy another cage to separate them. I have no idea if you already had this planned but just thought I would pass that info along. On rare occasions they get along ok so it might just work. Have fun and enjoy your bunnies! cheesy

OK! Carl is already at the Shispering Pines with gallons and gallons of Sweet Southern Iced Tea fresh out of the frige. Good for washing down those lucious fired twinkies.
And don't forget a week from today - special open house to mark our arrival at the 200-day mark. Carl plans to have a special decor and introduce the new fired Twinklings treat.
You don't want to miss it!

I am going to bed, even though there is no AC up there. The approaching storm has cooled the air a bit and I put the fan on full blast in the window so hoping it is not to bad tonight. AC's on sale at Walmart for only $88 so may go and pick one up for the bedroom.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My evening was uneventful yesterday. My brother and worked on the pool deck till 9:30 last night, then Nancy brought us some chicken from Zaxby's. Boy, that's good yard-bird! If you don't have a Zaxby's near you, find one!

I'll be doing the same thing tonight, too. If you aren't doing anything, stop by. I have a spare hammer. :

Man, it is HOT. All I do in the summer is complain about the heat! I just can't take it! I am blonde and fair-skinned - I am not meant for heat!!! My poor kids and hubby hate it, too (we're all blonde except our little Noel, who came out a redhead!!) We are so much happier when it's cold!

We walked to the store to pick up some fruit at about 8 and by the time we got home at 9ish, it was unbearable outside! One more day of heat before it cools down.. wahooo!!!
