morning all.....

just had my morning latte, now it's time to get on with some work.

next month on movies 24 in the U.K, they are showing christmas films every weekend as part of christmas in july. i can't wait, need my fix of christmas. july is when i really start thinking of plans and new traditions.

I cant wait for that - last year I sky them all and kept watching. I also really like that they are not the 'old faithfuls' that I watch all year round .

Mr. got home around 8:30ish; didn't even know about the tornado activity around. We got a heckuva thunderstorm about half an hour ago, so we switched off the TV and air conditioners and waited it out in the basement listening to some OTR on a battery-powered CD player. We're down to some lightning, rumbles, and rain now. Hope the worst is over, although the tornado watch goes until 11 p.m.

Worcester is quite a ways east of Springfield; Clinton looks to be a little northeast of Worcester. So they weren't in the thick of it, so far as I know.

Just finished working about an hour ago.....I know this isn't my place, but I am really kind of worried about Xmas365 and his family...has anyone heard from him since the tornado hit Massachusetts ?? I sure hope he and his family and all are safe.........Wishbone says hi to everyone and he told me to say thanks for the good thoughts xo

Not sure where exactly he's from but the areas that were hit here by the tornados are without power . Not something we see here in Mass very often lots of damage

My dad is already home (two days earlier than they thought!)...in fact, he was eating solid food last night, which they thought he wouldn't be able to do until today.

Thanks for the advice, ill keep a close eye on them, The pet shop seemed more than happy to sell us 2 and never said anthing about them not getting along when they were older so I assumed they would be ok. Me and dh have just spoke about it and if i see any signs of them not being nice to each other ill put one in a different hutch. cheesy

Some people are not aware of the territorial issue rabbits have. Maybe whoever is selling them to you wasn't told any different. When they are babies they adore each other. There have been occasions we have had some babies for too long and as they got older I have witnessed some scary fighting, fur flying and blood. Not a pretty sight. We quickly have to separate them. Just have a box or something handy you can quickly put the other in if that should happen until you are able to buy another hutch.

It don't matter if it is 2 females together, 2 males together or even male/female together they all get aggressive. I could not tell you how on earth they mate if they can't get along. lol. We don't breed them at our store, someone brings babies to us. The pet store might still insist it's ok but you can google , "rabbits territorial behavior" and maybe there might be some advice there. There could be advice on how to tame them to get along. The only thing I heard that might work is getting them fixed. I have been at my job for 8 and half years and have not heard too many success stories.

Sorry, I am being such a downer. I really do hope it works out but I just didn't want something bad to happen and for you to be caught off guard. Good luck to you and keep me posted! cheesy

I'm worried about xmas365 too ... I don't know exactly where he's located, but I got the impression from some of his winter posts that he's "out west" (i.e., west of Worcester), and that's the part of the state that was getting the worst of it last night. Let's hope it's nothing worse than a power outage that's keeping him offline. (And to make things worse, his beloved Bruins lost last night ...)

The tea (and yes the coffee too, such as it was) flowed like water.
Fired Twinkies were being tossed about like footballs.
Carl was in rare form with a lampshade on every hump.
(Gee! What will the special "open window" Wednesday be like next week??)

Good morning all! Its a NICE day again!! No humidity and its in the low 60's here. I have a friend from Boston Mass. She is ok but there is a LOT of damage there. Prayers go to all our Christmas friends here that have damage and hope you all stay safe. William is talking in full sentences. Mind you, some of them you don't understand! LOL. According to the site logs Xmas365 hasn't been on the site for about 26 hours now. So a busy work day plus an evening of weather/power issues could well have knocked him offline.

Hopefully we'll hear from him soon. That New England weather is weird but yesterday was REALLY weird for them....

I was wanting to hear some Christmas tunes but was having trouble with MCR so I decided to listen to Beatles Radio online instead. They played, White Christmas! I listen to that station all the time and it's the first time I heard that tune play on there. They must have known I wanted to hear something Christmasy! How nice of them! cheesy

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was another evening of working on the deck till 10 pm again yesterday. It'll probably take us a couple weeks to finish at this rate. I miss laying on the couch and watching Funny Videos! It's looking good, though.

I just got back from picking up some hardware from one of our vendors a moment ago. I was almost back to work when I spotted my father-in-law, Bernie, broken down beside the rode. His alternator belt broke and his battery wasn't strong enough to keep the truck running, so I helped him and one of his sons tow his truck to the shop.

It's already been a long day! I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is chilly and overcast here in northern California. I am still coughing a lot and might have to finally go to the doctor, but there's probably not much s/he can do. We are going to have our awards assembly this morning, the last one of this year. I hope the kids behave as well as they did on the field trip yesterday. I told the kids on the way to Redding (on the school bus) that I would give everybody a dollar that slept all the way back. Not one single kid slept all the way. But I did look back and one of the parent helpers slept most of the way. I laughed at her and held up the dollar, but she wouldn't take it!! The kids thought it was funny.

Undertakr, you ought to record William every once in a while so that when he gets older, you can let him hear how he sounded. CM3, it was good to see Wishbone cuddled in a towel. I hope we do hear from Xmas365 soon. Stay safe, everyone. Hope to talk to y'all later. Have a great day.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is a going to be a dreary day here in central Indy with storms on the way for this afternoon and evening. The good thing is the high for today is only supposed to 79. My nieces girl scout troop is having a bake sale this weekend so I have been recruited to make something. I don't know what I am going to make yet but I need to get it done this afternoon so I can take it to my sister tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been worried about him too. The last I heard there was 40,000 homes still without power. So hopefully he just can't get on right now and will be back with us later today.
