Oh CM3, I hate that you are feeling so down. I've been through some really rough times over the last year - and so I know there isn't much I can say that can make it "better" right now. Just know that we love you here and we want the very best for you. I'm praying for this whole situation and that you'll have a peace about whatever the next step is.

Apparently I am grumpy tonight. My sister and nieces have been here all afternoon and they have made a mess. I tried to walk across my living room and stepped on jacks. When I backed away from the jacks I tripped on my nieces shoes and fell on the couch. I told my nieces they needed to clean up some and got yelled at by my mom. Then I was given money by my mom to go get dinner for everyone since she was the only one with enough cash. When I got home I gave her the money for mine. My sister tried to give her money for hers and my nieces but my mom said no. I told her she should take the money and got yelled at again.(she had already taken my sister and nieces out for lunch and paid) Then I was yelled at a third time for telling my sister that she should go tell my great aunt and uncle goodbye because they are moving back to Pennsylvania tomorrow. I think it would be rude to not go tell them goodbye when you don't know if you will ever see them again but apparently my mom doesn't care. So I guess I am just being a grump tonight.
We will not yell at you here! cheesy
I didn't realize that was a Rudolph costume---I thought it was a regular reindeer costume plus the results of Carl's high-octane treats!!
I was wondering why my nose glowed every time I eat those treats at the Pines!
My husband had to pick me up at school and take me to the emergency room.
So sorry to hear. I hope you are out of pain soon!

I'm sorry it's been such a bad day for you, CM. I hope it improves. Give yor old boss another call. It's been my experience that making more money isn't always the best job choice.

Good luck!cheesy

Hey friends! I'm so wore out right now it's crazy. But I'm gonna get out in the yard before it gets too hot!

Seawaters- I hope your feeling better today!!!!

CM3- My prayers are with you!!!!!!

Good Morning from a rainy central Indiana!!!!!!!! I just saw a u-haul pull in so that is my cue to get to work. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen to that! I went from being assistant landlord to working for a "mom and pop" type feed store and SO MUCH MORE HAPPIER!!! No more free rent and less money but happy happy happy! cheesy

I'm with Brad & CAH on this one, CM3! The best job decision I ever made was after I got the $$$ signs out of my eyes and head. One's well being and peace of mind are far more valuable! Quite simply, if it ain't worth it, it ain't worth it!

CM3, what a raw deal! Have you thought about contacting your current supervisor and asking where the h*** the negative points in the e-mail came from, when a week ago you were doing "very good work"? Could it be simple as the company sending the e-mail to the wrong employee? If your supervisor can't explain why she assured you you were doing good work when in fact there were issues---THEN it's probably time to get out of there. If they can't keep you accurately apprised of how they think you're doing, they're mis-managing their employees. But perhaps you should give them a chance to explain why your getting mixed signals. Overall, it must be tough working for an offsite boss.

Good evening, everyone. My husband had to pick me up at school and take me to the emergency room. The principal came in to take over for me. I was in tears and the kids were the worst they have been all year. I cannot believe how they acted, even knowing I was in so much pain. It was a total zoo. The doctor gave me a shot and another, stronger medication. The ribs still hurt, but not like they did earlier in the day. The doctor told me that the pain would not go away with the meds, but it would get somewhat better so I can breathe without crying. While I was in the ER, a 6 ft. 10 in. policeman brought in a man in handcuffs and put him in the cubicle next to me. Wasn't that a treat?! Anyway, I am home now but will be limited for a while. I was going to join my husband when he judges a rib cook-off this weekend, but I know I can't make it. So I will stay home and read and rest. I am sure my attitude will get better as I heal! Please bear with me!

Hang in there, Seawaters, while the healing happens. Come cry on our shoulders again when you need it.

I had to smile a little when I read that your husband is judging a RIB cook-off, considering that your ribs are currently cooked, but I don't want to make you laugh while it hurts. cheesy

Seawaters, caninemom
I was once told the tough times do not last, but tough people do! both of you are tough, and I know you will make it through this.

Good Morning MMC !

Went out to garage sales this morning, got a really nice set of Christmas hot plate covers with snowmen on them, so cute! Also found a Christmas tree pin that I put on my jacket and made my daughters eyes roll! cheesy

Now I am baking a cake and filled the pan to full, overflowed and almost set off smoke alarm (caught it just in time!) Been along time since I did that!

Hope you all have a fantastic day!!!

Good Morning, Weekend Friends.

We are back from the coast and ready for the first renters who arrived a week from tomorrow.
It was a busy 3 days, but everything got done for another season.
Whew!

Speaking of seasons (or should I say Season?):
Days to the Season: 155
Days to Christmas Day: 197
[And a great big thanks to Coach for pinch-hitting while I was out and knocking in a few runs while he was at it!]

Our NEXT Milestone??
Well, hang on to your hats......
It's the half-way mark to Christmas Day (Marker #10) and it arrives a scant 2 weeks from tomorrow!
Zoundzers!!

My younger niece graduates from HS this evening at our dowtown convention center.
Hard to believe, really.

You have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.
Enjoy your Weekend to the fullest in the spirit of the Christmas Season!

I just remembered what I dreamed last night:

Nancy turned up the radio in the kitchen and called out, "Listen to the radio!"

It was the Beach Boys' Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. I was even humming when I got up this morning! cheesy

When I told her about the dream today, she rolled her eyes...LOL!

One u-haul loaded and ready to head to Pennsylvania. I don't know how long it will stay there since this is the second time in 5 years they are moving from Indiana to Pennsylvania but I guess whatever makes them happy. Now I think it is time for a nap!!!!!!!
