Well, about to load up and head out. Got a little 4 hour drive ahead of me. The good news.....there is a Starbucks halfway. Wish they had the pumpkin spice lattes....but that will be soon enough.

See ya tonight!

Have a safe drive.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm going to the chiropractor this morning to see if she can do something to help my back. I've obviously strained something between working on the pool deck and running my side business. Hopefully, I can avoid surgery. *crosses fingers*

Nancy came home about 10:30 last light from her trip to Atlanta with her sister. I finally got a good night's sleep! I just don't sleep well unless she's there, even though my daughter and her stuffed giraffe, "Gerty", both slept with me.

We have another hot, dry day on the way. Come on rain!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I hope your back feels better.

Glad to hear you're feeling better---stomach bugs, echhh.

Would you mind sending some of that weather up to New England? It's been chilly and gray here for days now, and I'm getting homesick for a Maryland June. Carnival weather in Frederick County!

I will send some nice weather your way although gray and chilly..doesnt that remind you of the Fall and closer to Christmas =0)

Good evening,

Watching game 6 right now, busy day at work. Day off tomorrow.

Be back after the game.

Enjoy your day off today!

Good morning,

The hockey playoffs have exhausted me, just one more game to go! Two months of living, and dying with the Bruins, plus what else has gone on around here has left me drained. I truly hope the Bruins can pull this off, so many people have followed them to get away from reality of the tornado and have something to cheer about. It looks like my town has saved the town Christmas tree, it was almost completely uprooted but they have it standing upright held by some wires. They probably felt it was important to save it just because it is towns tradition to light it the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and we need to save some of the little things around here.
I have been busy this morning, dishes, laundry, dressing the boys, feeding the boys, making their lunches, and bringing them to school and daycare. I can relax a little now, got a little more laundry to go.

Have a good day!

Hope the chiropractor helps. Surgery is no fun...

Another beautiful day here in Maryland. I am off work tomorrow yaya. My Dad had knee surgery on Friday but seems to be doing pretty good. Hopefully when I am off work next Wednesday we can all go to lunch cheesy. My Boys are very happy that my Dad will be off of work for 8-10 weeks... since my Mom keeps my Boys when Im working they will get to spend a lot of extra time with their "Pop Pop".

Looking up Christmas items on QVC as we speak and starting to make a list of gift ideas... oh what fun...!!!!

Good morning! It's a beautiful day in Ohio! :)

Brad - hope they can figure something out for your back! Have a safe trip!

MsChristmas - I hope your Dads knee heals quickly...how fun for your kids to have "Pop Pop" to hang out with awhile though! :)

xmas365 - how cool that they were able to save the tree! What a great tradition...would have been sad to see it end!

And thanks to lilnoelelf, I am now singing "I need a little Christmas right this very minute" LOL!! Just watched a Christmas episode of Fresh Prince...

Make it a great day everybody!

Yes, we do have Costco! In addition to that, we have quite a few Portuguese decendants in our community. Many of them make their own highly-prized, potent wine. They are especially generous when it comes to donations for raffles/auctions for Knights of Columbus, Elks, etc. Almost always, the wine goes for a goodly amount and then is re-donated and makes even more money. I have seen the bids well over $500!!! It makes a good marinade for just about any kind of meat. Hubby puts some in his special spaghetti sauce that he makes for one of the benefit dinners. By the way, the Portuguese have dubbed their wine "Portugee diesel." (They pronounce it Port uh gee with a hard g sound, as in gate.)

LOL - yep! Hope you have a Costco nearby to buy wine in bulk!! :tree:

Oh, man. Hope you get to feeling better. I feel your pain!!! I know what you mean about not being able to sleep when your honey is away. Hubby is leaving before noon to go to Yreka for an overnight trip for an Elks meeting. He is going to the store and Wal-Mart to get a few things for me and has tried to figure out what all I might need and where to place it so I don't have too much bending or reaching to do. What a great guy!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is already (8:25 a.m.) hot here in northern California. We ran the whole house fan and cooled it down some, but the AC will surely be on a little later. I was supposed to have the crown put on my root canal tooth yesterday, but I called to reschedule. There was no way I was going to have dental work done when it is difficult to sit with two broken ribs. I do feel a little better today, and that is not the meds talking this time!! Hope y'all have a great day!

No heat for us yet this summer. So odd -- we live in a desert for pete's sake! -- only 59 outside right now and today's high will only be about 72.

My body, my lawn and especially my garden are all confused.
Dude! Quit braggin'!

Well because I am Canadian, I have to say go CANUCKS! While it was a disappointing game in Boston last night, I have some hope that they will win it in game 7. We want the cup too!
