Boy do I need the pines after work! I was trying to clean out the shed on sunday. Well that didnt work well. I was half way through when 3 bees started flying at me. Got out the can of raid thats SUPPOSED to kill them. No no. It made them angry. What are they? Super bees? I waited for a few hours and went back out. As soon as I started up again the bees came out of nowhere. The 3 bees. Hmmm. Strange eh? Back to work I go! Have a great day and see you at the pines!!!!

We lived in Dallas for 6 years. I remember being a virtual prisoner in your home during the summer. One year we had 30 something straight days over 100. It was great to move back to the mountains away from the heat. Every time we start to complain about the snow, we remember the Dallas summers.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is windy and warm right now in northern California. It will definitely get hot soon, in the 90s. I am listening to some Christmas tunes on the computer and running the AC. Seems like Christmas! I have a professional development meeting at school this afternoon. Hubby will be home soon so he will drive me over and pick me up. It is still too hard to drive. I hope everyone has a great afternoon with some cool weather!

I ended up going to a Chiropractor a couple of years ago, and it's made quite a difference. I only go once every couple of months now, and It's really more because I LIKE going. I'll admit the first couple of weeks were rough (ICE PACKS....keep them handy!), but it was well worth it. Good luck to you!
And on a sadder note, I lost one of my best friends last night. Yes, my beloved laptop, veteran of more forums and Church posters, tickets, and special readings than I care to count, has evidently managed to wipe it's BIOS (or that's what Hubby says, anyway). It will turn on, but then it just sits there. Nothing loads. Screen doesn't even light up.
Fortunately, most of my stuff was backed up to my huge old dinosaur of a desktop computer. Unfortunately, the very latest thing I did for Church was not. And I can't remember for the life of me what I was writing. What a time to have my first senior moment! :x

My mom just dropped off a buch of CHristmas cards she found and some Christmas sprinkles... my first thought that was that I was going to bake some sugar cookies and send out some cards but I guess people who think I was REALLY nuts, huh?
