Our town's Beer Fest is today, which means the hubby is working today... bah! Wish he could be home with us (Jude is very upset about this!!) because I could use a little break but oh well! Such is life.

It's pretty nice today and less humid but Noel is still sick, so not sure if we'll get to spend any time outside, really. He's just miserable! My poor baby.

wet drippy day so far, hope it clears up as we are having a BBQ tonight to celebrate a friends birthday.

Also working on flowers for some cakes and cleaning up around the house.

Happy 1/2 way to Christmas Day!!!!! Hope this finds everyone doing well! I'm just as excited as I can be!

Yesterday was Mom's Day. She turned 59! Everyone probably has a big bash on 60, but no one expects a 59th birthday bash! My brother, who lives 5 hours away, and I have planned a little family cookout this afternoon. He is about one hour out. I've been spending the past day cooking dip, sausage balls, desserts, etc. for our little cookout. I'm stoked.

She's a special lady. I'm thankful that she still is a parent to me by providing me with advice from her standpoint. Sometimes I don't like hearing what she says, but it's her perspective and she always speaks it honestly, whether or not it's what I want to hear.

God bless Moms everywhere. Where we would be without them?

Oh yea, kinda cool we are going to hit 13,000 at the 1/2 mark to Christmas. We seriously are pushing 30,000 for the year. Amazing.

hey gang,

i have a request. i'm in a state of shock and feel ill, my heart's breaking and i need your help.

my aunt had a stroke this afternoon, i am very close to my aunt, she's a wonderful woman and is only in her 60's. she's in a pretty bad way, we have been told that if she pulls through, she will be disabled, but that's not an issue, we have a big family and we will take care of her, that's fine by us so long as she just pulls through. she suffers with her heart (she's had a bypass) and they have said if she goes into cardiac arrest they will not resusitate.

we have already lost my precious grandmother in january, we CANNOT lose my aunt, the grief will tear us apart.

please, those of you who believe in the lord, those of you that pray, please say a prayer that she pulls through, i really need you to do this for me. i need her to pull through.

Lord, be with this family as they join together at the bedside of this beloved aunt. Calm their hearts and give them your peace. I ask for healing of this dear lady, restore her to the loving arms of her family.

i hope u all are doing great. all is fine over here....still coughing and sneezing...but oh well...it will get better in no time. tomorrow the summer will come back with around 85 degrees only to get hotter during the week.....YAY....and we gon celebrate the return of the summer with a nice family bbq and watching the first game of our German team at the Women s World Soccer championship tomorrow

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be a warm day here in central Indy with some storms firing up this evening and overnight. I just checked the QVC website and it doesn't look like we are going to get an hour of christmas programing on the 22nd of july. They should release the schedule for the 23rd tomorrow. I don't have much to do today so I plan to spend some time watching a christmas movie. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon, Christmas family!

What a gorgeous day it is today! I had to make an unexpected trip to the hardware store for a new latch for the screen door so I ended up going the long way around and stopped at a few garage sales. Didn't find much, but it was a lot of fun to be out in the fresh air. Stopped at the store and stocked the booth - doing well for the month of June. Still behind last year's sales, but with all the things that have went wrong this year, we are doing good.

When I came home, I watched the last half of Home Alone. The scene with Kevin and his mom at the end brought tears to my eyes - that has never happened before.
