My favorite day of the week!

I am working today - need to get a lot done so that I can have lunch tomorrow with my friends and not feel guilty over things left undone. I had best get going, but I am lingering over my coffee and catching up on the forums. Great way to start the day!

Well good Monday morning. My shift has changed from 8am-5pm with weekends off to 11am-8pm with weekends off. So I have some time to myself in the mornings. Just listening to a bit of Christmas music. The chat last night was fun! I can't wait for the next one. Wow. Friday will be July 1st. Insane. Here are two videos from the weekend. It's the 2/3 mark to the Season.
And it's less than 2 1/2 weeks away!

We stand at just under 78 degrees here at this hour, again on the way up into the 90's. It was 94 yesterday.
(This is getting to be a heated drag!)
Rain possible for the next few day but hopefully it will be clear by Thursday if predictions hold.

Nice, cool Monday morning so far here! Off to the park in a bit.

Just peeked in my backyard and my pumpkin plants have flowers!!! And they are popping up in random parts of the yard - guess an animal moved the seeds or something! It reminded me that fall is on the way!

Just scored BIGTIME at Hallmark!!! All of last year's leftover ornaments were - get this - 99 cents!!!!!!!!!!!!

I even got one I was looking at last year but was too cheap! (The "Where the Wild Things Are" one with Max and the sailboat - it's my husband and Jude's favorite book!!) I am sooo excited! So go check your Hallmark! Mine was getting prepared for the ornament premiere so they were desperate to get rid of 'em!

I was in Hallmark last week and last year's ornaments were half off...I wonder if the 99¢ is for all stores now?!?

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy & the kids went to the beach with her niece and her kids yesterday afternoon. My brother and I worked on the pool deck. That thing has turned into a quest. The quest for the end of the deck. Oh my. I am so ready for it to be finished! On the plus side, I get to spend more time with my brother than I usually do. He lives about an hour away, so we usually only see each other once every other week.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is a rainy morning here in central Indy. We are on our way to a high of 86 today with even warmer temps heading our way. I need to do some cleaning this morning and then I need to run to the grocery store this afternoon. I may run to hobby lobby to see what else they have put out since I was there. Yes, I did enjoy the scrapbooking series. I bought several. I really like them because I do scrapbooking, so I understand when she gives ideas. Love them! Thanks for the recommendations. I am also looking into the Orchard Mysteries. The first one sounds very interesting!!! Death by septic tank??

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is supposed to be hot here in northern California, but what else is new? I am still in pain, so I am going to basically do nothing today. My classroom is going to change in July, so I need to be better for that. Hope, hope, hope. Too many times, I try to push overcoming pain, injuries, illness. Not this time! Walking is the worst, unless you count sudden moves!! No more complaints. Life is too precious!
