Thanks, you guys! Things are better...we might hear from them again this week but I've been relieved of the situation and told that if they call back, I'm not to say a word and transfer them right to management. That sounds just fine to me!

Good News, no better than that, Miraculous news !!!

Wes got through the surgery just fine, which was an endovascular procedure. With this type of surgery they place like a graft or patch over the aneurysm and divert the blood flow somehow taking the pressure off the aneurysm itself. That is the routine part. The miraculous thing that I just found out from my sister, and which she did not tell me before, was that the ANEURYSM WAS 8.2 cm !!!! That is huge and usually when they are that large they are just ready to rupture. Wes' did not. A true miracle. Someone, they way I see it, definitely had their hand over Wes.

Thank you all for your prayers, rosaries, thoughts, I can't tell you how much you and your suppor means to me. My sister wishes to thank you all too. Now the recovery which I hope will be swift.

I realize it's bad form to air workplace grievances online, especially someone else's, but I'm so frustrated tonight that I just had to vent. I can only hope that some complaints reach some managers who can do something about the current situation. Some of those writers need a swift kick in the tuchus. Any volunteers? The line forms here!

I'll volunteer! I hope things get better. I know that yes, it is bad form to complain about work online, but sometimes you just NEED to! I think we've all been there at some point.

Busy day. Meetings, meetings, meetings. Getting the new water heater installed today. And it is my son's 17th birthday today.

My wife got home a little more than hour ago, my mother in law basically had a nervous breakdown. She is going to be in the hospital for a while, her mind is not in a good place right now.

Busy busy weekend...wondering when things will calm down around here! Never seems to end. Tomorrow is Travis' birthday...my parents and I are taking him to Carrabba's for dinner and I'm hoping to score an iPad 2 for him, but so far no luck in the Best Buy's around here! If I can't find one, I'm going to print out a picture of one, stick it in his card and tell him that he is definitely getting one, but not until the stores stock up. I'm hoping he will be as surprised as I've been envisioning the last month and a half!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is hot and steamy already here in central Indy. I had to run some errands this morning and now I need to spend some time cleaning. My youngest niece is coming in to spend the night tonight. My oldest niece is going in for a upper and lower GI scope tomorrow morning to see if they can find out why she keeps getting sharp pains in her stomach. Today is going to rough on her. She's not allowed to eat anything solid after 9am this morning and she starts the medicine to clean her out at 3pm. Were hoping that they find something but not anything major. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor kid - I'll keep her in my prayers!

I have 200 cupcakes to bake for a 50th wedding anniversary open house this Saturday. They will be vanilla and chocolate. All with white icing and either gold sprinkles or gold hearts.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's hot & humid down here, for sure! I worked on the deck yesterday afternoon and made some progress. I would have gotten more done, but I had to direct my son while he cut the grass. I like my yard cut in straight lines, 45 degrees from the street. I know it seems picky, but that's the way I like it. Although he protested a bit, he finally came around a did a pretty good job. It was hot yesterday afternoon, too. The gnats were terrible!

I guess I'll try it again today. I hope ya'll have a great day! cheesy

I love Bocelli too! I have the original song, Time to Say Goodbye, on my MP3 player. I heard this version of the song, Time to Say Goodnight, a few years ago and thought it was so cute! I think I love it just as much as the original. =)

Insomnia is the pits. Two nights after we got home from vacation, thanks to the time-zone shift, we both lay awake until nearly 4 a.m. We were reciting literature a comedy routines, trying to get sleepy! Finally I said, "Marley was dead, to begin with ..." and Mr. nearly died laughing. That reminded me that during the Christmas season we sometimes fall asleep listening to Geoffrey Palmer's unabridged reading of "A Christmas Carol," so I put that on---but we heard every word.

I've been sleeping all right, but it hasn't kept me from feeling drowsy the past several days. Just can't get energized!

A HOT good morning!

We never got below 83 degrees last night and the predicted high is 99 for this afternoon with a heat index of 109!
As a result, we have postponed our trip to the coast until this evening so the dog won't be in a closed car in the sun when we stop to eat on the way.

No countdown volunteers have stepped forward for tomorrow through Friday mornings.
We could make it a "team effort". If it looks like no one has posted the count, anyone can jump in and do it!
