Christmas Countdown - 2011

Hubby and I had to be out early this morning because he needed a fasting blood test. So we headed out and then had a great breakfast afterwards. I went back to the doctor and he is giving me another prescription plus a pain patch. I also have to take vitamin D and calcium. We will be leaving Saturday, but we are taking the laptop with us. I hope I can get on. Talk to y'all later. Have a great evening.

Good evening,

My wife did such a beautiful job planting flowers and making the yard look nice, my aunt who lost her house in the tornado gave us a bunch of her flowers to replant here, I am so proud of her, since neither one of us have a green thumb. No new news to report on mom in law or my wifes grandmother.

hey everyone. hope u are all doing good.....I sure am. Kandice has three weeks off from Pre-School now....and then...her Kindergarden year will start....it is included in pre-school.....she already knows how to do everything they teach there.....she counts to 40, knows her abc s, writes her name, her cousins names and on....she is looking forward to it so so much.

tomorrow we will go to a cute amusement park about one and a half hours away from our city...I say cute, because it has some type of old-fashioning and folklore about it.....for example the wild water ride looks like old bath tubs and stuff like that....the last time I was there I must have been 11 or sumthing like this and back then we loved it......and I am sure we will love it tomorrow too.....especially the huuuuuge wooden roller coaster

Good hot and humid morning, Christmas friends!

Days to Christmas Day: 163

Yesterday was the 2/3 Season Milestone and if I have this figured out correctly we are only 3 weeks away from the 100-day milestone. Amazing how fast the time is flying by this year!!

I have been awake since just before 3 so it is going to be another long day. This morning I am taking care of the fur kids and then working until later on in the afternoon.

I am glad to hear Kandice is doing so well in school.

That amusement park sounds really cool! Is it open during the Christmas holiday? I bet it would be pretty during that time.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be a hot day here in central Indy but it will feel mild compared to what is headed here for next week. I am getting ready to run some errands and while I am out I plan on stopping by michaels. I almost forgot that the hallmark ornament preview is this weekend. I will have to head there tomorrow. Good morning, Christmas friends. It will be hot again today, and I have lots to do to get ready for our semi-vacation. Hubby has to attends lots of Elks meetings; I probably should, but I will sky out as much as possible! I tried the new pain-control patch last night. It works great, but there is a downside. You can only wear it for 12 hours, then it's 12 hours off. It works about eight hours. Even with that, I did not sleep well; so I spent my time finishing a book and reading some teacher material. I guess it will be nap time this afternoon (but don't tell Crown). I will pop in off and on today. If we hit any posting milestones, I will take care of the "prizes" when I am on a computer. If I don't have access, I will take of prizes when I get home. Who knows? I might pick up some valuable stuff in Phoenix!!!

TGIF! Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

My family took me out to eat for my birthday last night, and it was wonderful. There's a little Italian place in a neighboring town that I love, and I thought we were going there, but we went to Olive Garden. The lasagna was great!

My daughter (with the only minor assistance of my mother-in-law) baked me a wonderful birthday cake, and wrote "Happy 47th Birthday, Daddy" in the icing, and drew a picture of the Enterprise from Star Trek. She's so talented at 10! I'll post a pic soon. Try not to be too jealous, Christmasstar!

I think Nancy and I are going out on a date tonight, so I'm looking forward to that. I hope ya'll have a great day! cheesy

It was another cool morning for our walk! LOVE IT! Love it when it's cool in the morning & heats up during the day!! Perfect!!!

Went to Ben Franklin last night & they are in the process of getting out their Christmas decorations! YIPPEE!!!! I took a picture of one of the displays w/ my phone & sent it to my friend who is a Christmas nut too. I told her "LOOOOOK... CHRISTMAS!!!"
