How frustrating for you. I know just how you feel. I hope they see soon that you are the best man for the job !!

Not sure it was clarified in Snow-in-Texas post but he has the job as soon as they can find someone to fill his position. He is suppose to move to first shift. He is on 3rd shift now and every time they get someone trained to take over his shift something happens, they quit or whatever. Now they are training someone in another department when they should be training him in his department! Grrrrrrrr!

scary stuff happening all over england at the moment (including my city) we have idiots rioting and causing mayhem and destruction and people looting and attacking other people. london is in chaos and now it's starting to happen in birmingham, manchester, bristol and liverpool. apparantly it's some sort of stand against the police??? people's homes and cars and businesses are being ruined and for what? i'm shocked, it's scary stuff but it's just typical of the year i've had so far!

why can't everyone be full of christmas joy all year round? :grin::thumbsup:

Just got back from the dentist after having two crowns put in ... what with two reconditioned teeth and the Novocaine, I feel like I have someone else's mouth. Kinda achy, too, 'cause there was some drilling. It'll be fine in a few hours, but it's a bit much right now.

If you are in Southern Vermont, Putney to be exact, there is a place called Santa's Land http://www.santasland.com/ it is fun for us Christmas folk. I haven't been in a long time, considering I only live an hour or so away from there.

Hi Christmas friends!

Well...I've been catching up on other places on MMC - but I've got so much catching up to do on this thread that it is almost overwhelming! So...no pressure, ChristmasHeart (because you know...that's what I always call myself :-D)!

I am going to sign off though because I'd like to spend some time playing guitar.

Less than 3 weeks away from the first signs of Autumn! I know just where to look too!

I watched a cute Christmas movie last night called "Mrs. Miracle". My Mom loaned it to me to watch - and I loved it! It is such a cute movie!

Yes Sir!! Actually there's a couple. I have one on my phone to that lets you keep a list of gifts and who they're for and when you buy them you can go and check it off.. and it has games and stuff too but they don't unlock till December first.. which is a little depressing.. but I guess I can wait haha
