It's marvelous that "The Christmas Angel" will finally be presented to an audience! And what a great idea to divide the role of the Christmas Angel, since he introduces several separate stories. I'm just so happy that more people will get to know this story.

Right until you told me I didn't even know about it. It is such a wonderful tale too. So much to gain in it. So last night we set up the props & costume groups, I am in the props group, I am super happy about that as I cannot sew worth a dime for sure! We have my Pastor (his name is John, in case I refer him by name & his wife's name is Donna, also his two older children help out Johnny & Nancy) They are going to look over the book and help reduce it - you know we have kids from the ages of 5 to 16 in this and we wanted to have in in the time frame of 2 hours. So, they will review and see where we can slim it a little. I have to say this has really made a stir, a lot of people are wanting to get envolved and I think this is what our Pastor wanted. One lady said it was nice to see we wanted to get all the kids into the play not just the same routine. We had a few grousers too but Pastor knows how to clam the waters. I will keep you updated and the next time we met we will review the plan as to the schedule, and what the show dates will be! We meet next week.:transform:

It was like that here yesterday in Central Pa. We've had 6.49 inches of rain since Sunday and there has been flooding around in the area. My crick in my backyard as made it so far! I'm lucky that my husband piped it well when we built my house. We were supposed to get more rain, but it looks like now it is going to stay to the east of us. Hope it lets up for you soon! Hope you enjoyed your coffee!

I haven't heard it called a Crick in such a long time my Nana called it that!!! What a lovely memory, thank you :!!

And with this post, sneaky Seawaters is poster #18,600. For her efforts, she wins a Lear jet to fly her to all the breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and Pines get togethers so she can sample all the wonderful sounding dishes everyone talks about. First stop will be when Bradmac is filling in for Bernie!!!

Wow a trip to Italy and now a Lear Jet!!!!

Good morning!!! Another rainy day here in NYC, but not worries the plants needed it. I got my Swiss Colony catalog in the mail, WOOO HOOO!!!! I love this one, I have so many little things I've bought over the years from them. My local Starbucks finally put out the Fall Flavors today, YAY!!!! I actually had the heat in my car on this morning it was only 52 when I left the house burrrrr, but Long Island can get a lot cooler then the city, and I forgot to tell you all, I had a duh moment, all this talk of the Pines and such, funny but we have a place on Long Island called the Pine Barrens I live 20 minutes from the area, too funny right all this time and I never mentioned it - but this morning watching the weather they were like there might be frost in the Pines this morning, I started laughing so hard I cried my husband looked at me like I had 3 heads, I said never mind honey, never mind... So, hopefully there wasn't a frost in Carl's Pines!!! Hope you all have a great morning, "see" you all later :)

Made-the sports news around here is talking about rumors Manning out for the year? I hope not, you always want the best players out there.

I sure hope not. I'm not quite as worried since we brought in kerry collins but if the offense line plays the way did in the preseason it's not going to matter who is playing quarterback. He isn't going to have time to throw the ball anyway.

Hey Coach! You ready for some football????? I am hoping for the Cowboys to have a great season this year! =)

OPENING DAY!!!! WOO HOO!!! I love the saying!!! It's FOOTBALL night in America!!! Cannot wait, I am hoping the G-Men will surprise me but I know it is going to be a battle!!!! Com'on GGGGGG-MEN!!!!

Oh and I must admit I will be rooting for the Cowboys, yes you read that right, the Cowboys Sunday, as I do not want those Jets to win!!! Knock them around Cowboys!!!

Anyone dealing with this crazy rain??? I woke up at 3 to a slight leak in our bedroom (we have to get our roof repaired anyway so it's not a big surprise) but no biggie... there is some major flooding in our area, though. Before we bought this house, we put offers in on a few other places in towns nearby but didn't get the places. We were so bummed but now I know it is for the best - all of those towns are MAJORLY underwater right now, some homes to the first floor!!! Ay yi yi.

If you're dealing with this rain - stay safe!!

Lauriebear, a "part time" Cowboys fan is better than not being a fan at all!

Besides Coach, who else here is a Cowboys fan? =)

We're just getting the outer bands of it here. So nothing major. It looks pretty bad in your area. I talked to my great aunt in Holidaysburg last night and she said they were seeing a lot of flooding.

Stay Safe!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is a rainy dreary morning here in central Indy. It's still nice and cool though so I won't complain. My cold is better this morning. I basically just have the annoying cough left. I have my normal cleaning to do today and then I may take a nap. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning.

.....How do you like Carl's new hat! Drew a picture of it for you because I forgot my camera....
kamel-giraffe-detail-1.jpg

A gift from me to celebrate all us Canadians who visit the Pines!

Careful now, Christmasstar. You're playing to Carl's inherent narcissism.
(Now, he will be demanding a starring role in Bing's next opera - wearing the hat, of course!)
And speaking of operas.........Bing?...........

OK, Friends.
Onward and Downward with our count:
Days to the Season: 66
Days to Christmas Day: 108
One week from tomorrow, Folks -- the 100-day Christmas Day Milestone!

We started out very overcast here this morning but the clouds have cleared away and we are supposed to have several consecutive days with highs in the mid-80's and lower humidity.
Great!
We currently stand at 68 degrees without a breath of wind.

Wellzers, we are again at the threshhold of Weekend Eve.
(Incredible. Seems like we were just at this point last week, doesn't it?)

Anyway, you have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone!

It's been raining since Monday here, I just got all the water out of the basement yesterday from Ms. Irene, and I wake up this morning to another flood in the basement. :x
