Ha, I've seen some customers do that lately! Have you been in my store? lol Yes, we are still setting up as well...the official Christmas set was on Tuesday and overnight Wednesday, so hopefully by next week, the sets will totally be done. And yeah, it is a struggle to not spend money...I have been doing very well though since being engaged...I only spent $25 last month and that was to get a friend a gift card for her birthday!



Yeah, we start pretty early!!!



I've been told that if you're gonna go all out, do it on the pictures. Because in 20 years, no one will remember what color the chairs/tablecloths/napkins were, and no one will remember what the food tasted like...but you WILL have the pictures!!!



I have had pain like that, but luckily it went away overnight and I never had it diagnosed. PLEASE go to a doctor and have it checked out if it doesn't go away (or hasn't by now...I think you posted this last night!). Get well soon, Neal!

Good evening, Christmas friends. Tonight's dinner was out of this world. Hubby made homemade spaghetti. The sauce was superb! In addition, he is cleaning up the kitchen! I met with my financial advisor at Edward Jones and got great news on my retirement!! It just seems like everything is falling into place! I feel so lucky! Have a great rest-of-the-evening!

We can't see penguins without thinking about Gloria Jean. She starred in a movie that involved a girls' club called the Purple Order of Penguins, so we are always buying her various penguins. She has a clear acrylic penguin that sits atop a base with an LED in it that changes colors, so the penguin transitions from blue to green to yellow to red to blue, etc.

What does caltch stand for? California teacher?

I want you to know that I know where the gall bladder is, but when I had attacks, they felt like they were in my stomach. Get it checked out.

I hadn't thought of the gall bladder, but that could easily be gabulldawg's trouble. My mom had terrible attacks until she had it removed.

It's for real, but when I tracked it down, it said "this product is currently not available." It was on Solutions.com. But how about this instead? (Read the reviews---it comes highly recommended!)

Yawn! Ballgames over, weather nice and cool, groceries bought, weekend starting. The temp here has dropped and tomorrow morning around coffee time, we will be around 65 degrees. Can't wait to sit on the deck and drink coffee!

Just catch the news there... Three people have been killed and at least 56 injured after a World War II fighter plane crashed at an air show in the US state of Nevada . Thoughts and prayers to out to the dead and injured.
Weather nice this morning well it is now was raining mad about a hour ago. and yesterday evening there was thunder and lighting
About 2 hours work will sort me today for the shop. more people in yesterday asking about when the christmas stuff is going out.
I really dont no what to do. i love seeing it in other shops, but wood never put any out to at least the last week in oct..
Part of the problem is the room , i dont have it at the moment

I am once again posting live from Bernie's General Store in beautiful, downtown, metropolitan Bellville, GA! Breakfast is cooked and in the warmer, the coffee is brewing and the weather is beautiful! I dont know what the temp is, but when I walked out with shorts on this morning, I almost turned around to get some long pants.

We might even get some rain today!! Lord, that would be nice!

I hope this finds everyone better, happy and spending the day with those they hold nearest and dearest!!!!

I have a recovering kitten locked in the bathroom, a stressed out and major grumpy older cat grousing behind my chair and I have to run errands. I am somewhat afraid of leaving the two alone in the house - even if they can't reach each other!

It is going to be a good day, though! The Tigers are the Division Champs, we are in double digits and I have time to catch up on everything I am behind on. Sometimes, life is very good indeed!

Its starting to get a little chilly down here in Georgia! For someone who loves Christmas I don't like cold weather!!! I'm recovering from my trip to Las Vegas, I had lots of fun! So much fun that I got a sinus infection & an ear infection lol!

Sad news. I love going to the air show every year and the plane that crashed is a really cool one to watch fly. So sad for all those who lost their life.
