When I was growing up in the South, we mostly called it Co-coler or dope; yes, dope! Sometimes we would call it sody dope!! Yankees called it pop. Now I call it soda or pop or by its brand name! No more dope for me!!!

My grandmother also called it a Dopsi-Cola. You know, since there was cocaine in the first incarnation of Coca-Cola. Coke & Pepsi are interchangable here. If we go to a restaurant with Pepsi products and ask for a Coke, they want to know if Pepsi is okay. It's all the same to me!

Now, if we're talking diet drinks, then Coke beats Pepsi. I'd rather have a regular Pepsi than a Coke. I'm weird, I know!

Getting ready to start work. UGH ! What a morning !! I had to go to the doctor for a physical exam and spent TWO HOURS in a paper gown WAITING !! Good Grief, Charlie Brown !!

I feel a bit better today except still wheezing a little......Can't wait to see my regular physician next Friday .....

Good evening, or perhaps I should say good morning, Christmas family !!

I got done working about two hours ago and was just sitting here trying to catch up on the posts. I havent been on as much as usual lately because I just haven't been feeling really well. Asthma is still raging and on top of that I have been getting flashes of lightheadedness sitting down ! I have mostly been just trying to take it easy when I am not working.

So many of our Christmas family have such bad things going on in their lives. As I am Catholic, I am going to try and say a rosary just for those in our Christmas family who have need xo

You might recall that just a week or so ago I posted about our little Chihuahua, Ivy and her knee. I finally got to talk to the vet today and it seems it is not her knee at all - she TORE her cruciate ligament !! Ouch !! As long as she doesnt walk on it a whole lot and rests, it seems to feel better. I am hesitant for her to have drastic surgery at this point because she is 13. The vet told me that as long as she rests and doesn't seem to get worse, she will probably be okay and that she is probably not in pain (I disagree with this even though I am not a doctor - I am STILL a mom of sorts !).

Wish has been doing okay so far as are my other furkids.

This weekend is the Fall Festival at my favorite local home and garden center - Donzells. They always have a Halloween/Fall type weekend every year and there are usually some Christmas items set up !! I can't wait !

hi glad to hear that about the wee dogs mayb if the leg is gonna come aright in time it might be better to leave it . as anaesthetic at that age can be dangerous maybe your a wee bit stressed out making your head spin but whatever the reason hope it leaves that is a terrible feeling i have inner ear amd if i dont take the tablets am walking round like am drunk( i wish lol)

Good Evening all! I have been sick the last week and finally found out the cause and am doing so much better now...Turns out I had Pancreatitis last week. Dr's put me on a clear liquid diet and antibiotics and so I finally feel human again. I am on leave at work until next monday which is also the day before I leave to come home to the states so I guess I will just "hang out" until then. I have alot to catch up on here,if I miss one day let alone a week around here it takes me a long time,I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello and hope everyone is doing great!
