Prayers heading your way Bulldog. My sister in law has suffered bouts of pancreatitis. She says very painful and can linger for a while but does subside. She has been symptom free for about a year after a month of pain.

Wow ... there was a big old wild turkey in the front yard across the street when I reached out the door for the mail. I wasn't close enough to get a good picture of him, but a got a little long-distance video. That's the closest I've been to one of those, and I don't think I'd want to get much closer. I hear they're seriously nasty if you tangle with them.

Just made me hungry for Thanksgiving dinner. Starting to feel like that around here - Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving - it's pretty much here now!

LOVE LOVE LOVING these cooler temps. I am going bonkers around the house because until I am cleared I can not go back to work and I will not know if I am cleared to go back until my one doctor sees me on the 28th, BAH!!!!!! I really do:cry: not want to be out of work another month. But hey it lets me have some time to decide who is getting what this year, filling out my cards, getting other stuff done that may have been put off indefinately. BUT like I said stir crazy and cabin fever are taking over. LOL!! I might have to talk DH into taking us somewhere either Saturday or Sunday just to get away for the day.

Not a very busy afternoon for me. I, somehow, managed to take an impromptu nap from 3-4 PM. This, of course, was followed by a nice gym session. For some reason, the varsity gym was absolutely empty today - with the exception of three of us. The varsity teams' fitness trainer, who normally helps train me, was not even there! This pretty much left me in charge of the other two that were in the gym along with me... Hooray.
Anyway, we did two (somewhat) quick Crossfit workouts. Good times! Now, Kim and I are hanging out. She's watching Grey's Anatomy, which is quite possibly one of my least favourite TV shows... Actually, ever since Scrubs finished, I do not have a favourite TV show - or one that I even follow, at least.
Excited for tomorrow. Another day down, another count update! Have a great evening, everyone!

Haven't posted since Monday...Monday night we had a meeting, Tuesday night we had another meeting and I had to pack, Wednesday we were going out of town, tonight I had ballgame duty, and tomorrow night I will have ballgame duty....BUT
Saturday morning, I'm going to be right here catching up on the posts I have missed and drinking coffee...

When someone's thoughts and energy are directed somewhere else, it is difficult for you to concentrate somewhere else. Even sleep is difficult. Just remember, however, that that door swings BOTH ways. Your wife missed you, found it difficult to concentrate and sleep without you, AND had the extra burden of realizing how precious life is as it hangs in the balance for ALL involved.
